Do Disney Resort guests get free parking?

I know that bus transportation is available, but should we decide to drive our own car to the parks, do we still have to pay for parking?

Resort Guests get a car pass. This allows you free parking at the resort and at the parks if you choose to drive.

Make sure you get the pass when you check in - they forgot to give us ours. It was just an A4 sheet of paper with our check-in /out dates and resort.

All guests, resort, AP, DVC, AAA, etc. may be restricted to a 3 hour parking pass when parking at some resorts other than their own, depending on anticipated crowding.

If you choose to drive to the parks you will notbe charged for parking but have the resort ID in order to prove you are an on site guest.
