Do Disney have late deals with free dining plans?

Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a late deal to a Disney hotel ie with Virgin, Thomson...etc
In 2006 we booked early with Thomas Cook and then nearer the time the same holiday was £500 cheaper!
Booking separately isn't an option at the moment because I haven't got enough to pay for the airfare in one go.
I wanted to go the last 2 weeks of August 2010 and I don't mind what Disney hotel I stay in, either value or moderate will do. I appreciate that this is a busy time to go so my options may be limited.
If I was to find a late deal would I still be able to get free disney dining or is this only a limited offer?
If anyone has any advice that would be great,

Booking for free dining is for a limited time only.
If you book now direct with Disney UK you would only have to pay a deposit with the rest to be paid around 8 weeks before and you can take advantage of the free dining and hotel offers. Then book a fly/drive paying the deposit now and the rest later.
Alternatively book the hotel then save up for flights and get a flight only deal which would probably work out cheaper.

Hi,

you can book a fly/drive now with Virgin not sure about other tour operators I haven't looked.

We have booked Saratoga Springs for 12th August 2010. Flights will be out in September, you can book 11 months before your return date I think.

I'm going to hold tight though until a bargain comes along, that's if I can bear to wait. I'm usually itching to book

Virgin has come up as £2500 for a 2 week flydrive!

I know what you mean about the waiting, trying to guess what the right thing to do is a nightmare!

Where will you be looking for flights? Is there any one place or should I just be looking around constantly?

Any ideas when the fee dining offer ends?

I booked direct with Virgin Atlantic last time.

This Christmas trip will be our 1st indirect flight and I'm going to see how we get on doing this it can work out much cheaper. I booked this through Opodo we're flying with Continental.

Like you said you just need to spend time looking every day at the likes of expedia, ebookers, Opodo. Then compare those prices with the airlines own website.

The best person to ask about flights will be WayneG, I'm sure he'll be along soon to help out.

You will find though if someone finds a bargain ( usually Wayne) the'll let everyone on here know

Yes I thought it was very expensive!

I've just been looking at October instead (the 10 days before Halloween) and it a bit cheaper although I'm not sure how busy it will be then. We love Halloween...

I think part of free dining is to encourage people to book reasonably early so doubt it'd be an incentive for last minute deals. However, doesn't mean to say that aren't other discounts and deals to be had

Hoping for a late deal in the last 2 weeks of August could be a bit of a nail biting experience because of the school hols. My hairdresser was hoping for one last year but couldn't find anything suitable and ended up going in October.

I've noticed VH fly drives have been getting much more expensive than booking flights and car hire separately direct with VA. Not sure what thats about considering its exactly the same products just without the benefit of booking with just a deposit!
