Do chocolate favors count towards food and beverage minimums?

I think were going to be just under the food and drink minimums for our venue with our chosen menu and package bar, do the chocolate placecards count towards the minimums? Or can anyone think of little extras to add, I wad thinking the mr and mrs chocolate strawberries for dessert?

I'm not sure about the chocolate placecards, I want to say yes though. We briefly considered something chocolate and personalized. But the strawberries are a definite yes! Drool...
