Do budget options fill up completely?

We're still finalizing plans for a likely Disney trip at the middle to end of August - but we're not sure exactly what we're doing yet.

As I wait to figure it out, I'm wondering if I might find myself without a place to stay. Is it ever a problem to find budget-ish accommodations, or is there always something clean and reasonable available?

I know there are a TON of options, but I'm a bit afraid of finding out it's an expensive place, a dirty place, or nothing.

I always found something great at the last-minute. The key is to be flexible and not locked-in to some certain place.
