I'm arriving at 4pm and my neice will be meeting me there at 5:30 pm. will they wait or come back for us? My niece is a last minute arrangement and I was wondering should i just call them and have them to pick us up about 6pm?? i'm with other travelers and they plan on going ahead of me...do you think this will be a problem?

thanks

You don't reserve space on a specific bus per se. You check in at the Welcome Center, and get on the next bus, heading to your resort.

You can CERTAINLY wait for your niece.

oh so that's great...i thought that they only pick up passengers that are scheduled through them at a certain time, which would be the time your flight landed. And you had to be there at that time to catch a ride.. thanks this was helpful:thumbsup2

As debster said, you'll be fine. NO ONE needs to rush through the airport and stress that they might miss their bus going to their resort. People are free to shop, dine, use the bathroom, etc., there's NO time pressure.

Like debster said, you aren't assigned to a specific bus. They need reservations, in part, to know about how many people are going to which resorts at around what time, so they can plan about how many buses they need and how to route the buses for optimal convenience. But Dawn77 checking in at the DME Welcome Center 2 hours after her flight won't throw even a tiny monkey wrench into the system.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that for the return trip, the trip from your resort to the airport, you need to ignore all of the above. On the way back to the airport, you are rigidly assigned a specific bus time, and that bus WILL leave without you if you're not there at that assigned time. You'll learn your assigned bus time on the morning of the day prior to your departure -- they'll hang an envelope of DME info on your room's exterior doorknob.

CleveRocks thank you so, so much. I can breathe easy now. I'll make sure were on the return bus on time;) . This info was extremely helpful.

Thanks :wave2:
