If so, what do you spend the money on?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the money. I want it to help with our disney trip somehow. Any ideas? If I can't buy anything, I guess I'll just transfer the money to a bank account and swallow the fee. TIA!

I use it for eBay auction purchases. It's a fantastic way to purchase things immediately without writing a check or using a money order.

Oh ya, that's a good idea! I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever get into ebay. I keep meaning to, but never seem to get myself going. In the meantime, does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks

I have saved it up and used to buy my disney tickets with my paypal mastercard, I used it to make the payments to Disney and pay off my room.. I loved using it because it is in USD, so I don't have to worry about conversion rates
after 60 days you can get a card, and it is really nice!
100% of my trip was paid off before I went and I used paypal for 95% of it!!!!!

Where did you sign up for the PayPal Mastercard?

After you have had your selling account for 60 days there is a link on the bottom on the page that says ATM/DEBIT card.. click that and then you get a page to fill out to get it.
good luck.. I like the cash back on it too.. you get 1.5% cash back into your account... it adds up!

The Paypal Mastercard is the way to go. I like it because you don't have to keep converting money from CDN to US and vice versa. I use it to pay for hotel deposits etc

Have you ever used it to withdraw US Funds from an ATM in the states... I am going down next weekend and I am wondering if that is easier than bringing down my own cash. I thought I read that you can't because I am from Canada, but I can't find that now.

Yes you can withdraw at ATM's but remember the fee still applies to that particular ATM machine. I found that in the States they are ripoff artists at those independant ATM's as well. $3.50 at some I have seen for "fees" and that does not include your bank charge just theirs. So be careful. I use my Paypal card for purchases for items I plan to sell on Ebay, or just general purchases when I am in the states and use it as a credit card.( It is nice because it only allows you to spend what is in your account) Just my opinion.........

I've got another paypal question for you paypal experts! When you withdraw from your account (ie. to transfer to your bank account), do you have to leave a minimum amount in your paypal account? I want to transfer into my Canadian account and there is a $0.50 fee. Am I able to transfer everything in my account minus the 50cents? Thanks for your help! We've decided against getting the credit card for now since we have too many cards as it is!

all of it can come out.. say you have $123.63.. you put that in to be switched to your account.. then it takes off their fees off that amount.
