DME to a resort where your are not staying

We are staying at SSR. On the evening of arriving, we are hoping to dine at AKL. Is it possible to take DME directly to AKL the night of arrival to save time?

Only if AKL and SSR are on the same bus route and it stops at AKL first, then you could just get off but then you would need to get your carry on bags with you if you have any on the bus. I don't think this will happen.

Currently, DME is tied to your actual resort reservation. So, you will have to go to the resort you are staying at upon arrival. Unless, as already mentioned, the resort you want to head to is on the same route. SSR and AKL are not on the same route.

If you think getting to the AKL in time will be a problem, plan on taking a cab from SSR to the AKL.

If you have 60-90 minutes, you could also walk over to Downtown Disney and take a bus directly to the AKL from there. However, the DD-resort buses do not run as often as you might wish, so you do need to allow plenty of time if you go that route.
