We finally got our DME packet today with the infamous yellow luggage tags!! :woohoo: The only bad things is in the booklet they have missing/wrong info about our flights. My family has 2 packages booked. Both booklets say the arriving flight time can't be found but they have the right flight # and on the departure info they have the right flight # and date but wrong time!!! What the heck? Who fixes this? I hope SW didn't screw around with our flights. Is that even possible? I emailed Magical Journeys (we booked thru them) to hopefully get some insight. Do you all have any?

Don't worry. Mine came with the wrong flight on it too. I just called the ME # that is located in the booklet where the vouchers are and gave them the new info. Turns out they already had the correct info. It was just wrong in my booklet.

Have a great trip!

I had the same experience. Called DME and they already had the correct info. The person I spoke with said that as long as the flight number, the date of arrival, and the resort were correct we were all set and not to worry about the incorrect times in the booklet. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys you put my mind at ease. My TA got back to me (love her!) and she said basically the same as you all. She said "Disney has really messed up the DME thing." She said that as long as the flight # is correct that is all that matters. DME doesn't go by anything else. She doesn't know why they even try to put all that other info on the booklet. Whew!! Do I feel better. (Where's the smiley face that is wiping his brow!) Thanks again!

Disney may have 'messed up' the data part of DME, but they do a fantastic job with the actual transportation of both Guests and luggage (and it's easy to straighten out the data portion with a call to the toll-free number or, if the misinformation is for your return flight, at the DME counter)

Just an FYI, the new booklets will no longer have the flight time... just the flight numbers. They will start coming out soon, if they haven't already.

Makes sense, Disney can track the flight by number and it will save all the phone calls from guests who want to update the new times.

Do we have any idea when DME will move to the other side of MCO?

It's a shame DME wasn't able to add SW as a participating airline.

I agree... adding Southwest would be a HUGE plus for DME. I think it would be great for SW too, because it would help alleviate congestion at the airport itself.

However, I don't believe that it fits within Southwest's current business model. Of course, I really have no clue.

As for DME moving over to the other side... We have not heard any rumors on dates just yet.

Personally, I would prefer to see them operate out of both sides of the airport. BUT... for logistics reasons, I doubt we'll see that.
