DL walk of magical memories bricks

GrandBob, funny you mention it, I never got mine either! No confirmation letter, nothing. They were probably just slammed with orders and are still working out the details??

You and I ordered ours basically at the same time. I have not received anything yet. I am sure they are just processing the mass influx of orders.

OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was just wondering, because some earlier posters indicated that they had seen the charge already. Kerri said that the CM told her that it should take 3 days. It's been about 2 weeks for me now. Kerri, have you seen a charge yet?

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Not quite. They (bricks) are protected for 10 years under your purchase agreement. The sponsor (purchaser) will be issued a sponsorship fee refund if the brick is removed before the 10-year anniversary. After 10 years, the agreement is fulfilled and no refund is provided in case of a removed brick.

:)

I'd like to add that it's very unlikely they'll remove it before 10 years. This is just for clarification in *case* it happens. :)

Disney also has the right to move it and there ii can be placed in an area that is not always accessible, if needed.

Anyone in C19 get their paperwork yet?

I'm in C19 and no paperwork yet. As others mentioned, no charge on my credit card either. I'm starting to worry a little as I'm going out of town for the rest of the week and if the paperwork comes while I'm gone, I might miss my 72 hour window to make corrections.

My fingers are crossed!!

The CM on the phone did say 3 days for sure, I asked because I wanted to make an additional payment on my Disney Visa (I had made a few purchases and was close to my limit) before the charge went thru, she said it would take 3 days and I knew I could do the online payment and it would be there within 24 hours so I went ahead with the DV. She also said if the charge didn't go thru they would call me before doing anything else...I haven't seen the charge and they haven't called me...the $$ is on the card (more than enough now LOL) and I've been checking every few days......

I'm sure you'll be fine.....how will they know when you receive the paperwork? I'm sure it's not a set in stone 72 hours. :)

payment did not post on my credit card yet either:confused:

Today I got my revised paperwork, changing the brick from "The Ducks" to "The Duck Family". :thumbsup2

Here's the map

Cool map :) We have a brick in C33 right now, right along the C32-C33 line, so it's easy to find. It's been 11 years, so I'm glad it's still there. With talk of the fountain possibly being built in the middle, I was afraid that they would remove it, so I got another one (my birthday present from me to me), and we're in section C19 or C09 (can't remember off hand). I did get the certificate, but haven't received my acrylic replica yet, though.

Thanks everyone. Yep, I'm in the same situation -- no paperwork, no CC charge yet.

FWIW, when I called on the phone a couple days after faxing in my order, the CM that I talked to told me it would be about 3 weeks. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago, so I'm not hitting the panic button yet. I'm sure we'll all get some paperwork in the next week or so....

Paperwork for our brick came in today's mail :yay:

The inscription looks perfect. The enclosed letter says that a sponsorship form has been included only if we haven't already signed one, plus a postage paid envelope to return it. My package had neither, presumably because I faxed in the original order with a signature. The letter goes on to say that we should contact them by phone or email if we find any errors or want any changes. I have neither. So apparently, I'm good to go.

No CC charge yet, but that's OK too :thumbsup2

Oh I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
Wonder who will be next?

Just an FYI on the CC charge. When I checked my CC online, there was a charge that simply said "STORE GUEST SERVICE" and no other information. It took me a while to realize that was the brick I ordered. When I got the actual statement, it also included "Anaheim, CA" so that verified it for me. But when I first saw it, I had no idea that was the charge for the brick (especially since all my other charges for Disney include "DIS" somewhere in the description).

I received my paperwork in Australia on Wed which was my birthday, so a lovely little present from me. My DH had collected it from our mail box and said whats from DL? Just some paperwork for our trip. :rotfl:

My credit card was charged within two days but I did purchase about a week before the deadline. They look great and I can't wait to deliver them on Christmas morning at DL.

Oops, totally missed that on my CC bill. Thanks jetskigrl.

Yep, they got me. In fact, just before the closing date on my CC. If they had held off a few days, it would have gone on my next month's bill. Oh well. Still stoked about the brick, and planning how to trick DGD into finding it next Nov. Sarah, I'll be sending you a PM in August, requesting that you take a picture. :thumbsup2
