DL ticket discounts from other sellers (non-Disney)?

I bought tickets for my 2023 trip from Undercover Tourist 2 days ago. Got an email saying there was an issue with my card (that I've used to book both hotel and flights and buy other stuff in the days before and after) and to email them back to confirm a time for them to call me, with no option to call them. Then they didn't call. Super frustrated, as the discount is hundreds of dollars and obviously a limited time option. I dont want to buy elsewhere as they charge 5% to refund, which is over $100, but don't want to lose the discount either if this doesn't get processed in time.
You might also just want to preemptively reach out to your CC company to see if they blocked the transaction attempting to protect you. You can also try to contact UT via chat, I needed to modify the tickets I bought last week and while I didn't get a response from chat yesterday I did get an agent this morning who handled my request.

I bought our tickets for May 2023 and saved $150. I got an email in less than 5 minutes with my tickets.

Does anyone know how I link them to the Disney app?

The e-tickets you received via e-mail (the attachment with all the bar codes) should have the ticket numbers.

I went on the Disneyland App > Tickets & Passes > the plus sign for add ticket at the top right > Link Tickets & Passes > typed in the ticket ID Number (or just scan the bar code).

Reservations aren't open for our dates yet, so I set a calendar reminder for myself too.

ETA: My husband and I have our own Disney logins, so I linked them to our individual accounts. Not sure how it works for "managed" accounts yet since reservations aren't open.

Thanks! Why does it make me so giddy to see them in the app :D

Just call them. Their phone number is on their webpage.

I've called them multiple times. They don't answer their phone or respond to messages. They seem to have plenty of availability to send me bulk email advertising how I should buy more tickets from them (3 since I placed the order on Sunday) and how great their service is, but when it comes to actually delivering tickets or providing service I'm extremely unimpressed. I definitely wouldn't use them again even if I get these tickets. I've bought from some of the other recommended agents in the past and never had an issue getting tickets or getting questions answered if necessary, and they've failed at both.

edited to add: just got another solicitation - so I've received 4 marketing emails in 2 days but no callbacks to multiple email responses/phone messages for an existing order where they requested I call in.

Bummer, sorry you’re having a bad experience with them. Receiving my tickets is almost instant usually. They do post a small charge on your credit card that you have to verify first via text message. I called the other day to exchange my tickets and I got an agent right away. I’m sorry you’re having an issue! Just keep trying and I’m sure they’ll make it right for you in the end, but I understand it’s incredibly frustrating when it doesn’t happen as it should.

My ticket request required that I confirm a small charge to my card they attempted due to security measures. This was received via text. Once I entered the correct amount of the test transaction my tickets appeared. I'm not sure if this happens every time, but it was the second time for me. I've had nothing but good service from UCT and the savings with the price increase this week were fantastic.

I paid via PayPal linked to my CC and didn’t experience anything like the verifications above. I bought a 3 day set last week then decided to upgrade to 4 day tickets so had to repurchase. Both times were easy, hardest part was attempting to get ahold of an agent to determine how to upgrade. But once that was out of the way everything else was seamless. Received the new tickets and the full refund of the old tickets same day.

One thing about GetAwayToday that I don't understand is the buy 5 days for the price of 4 days promo. When I price those options out separately, the buy 5 days option is significantly more.

Anyways, I'm buying from UT today. I have used them in the past with no problems and they are upfront that there is a 5% refund charge on the tickets.
Yeah. this is still a problem.

5 day park hopper with lightning lane is $710.
4 day park hopper with lightning lane is $629.

But if a person plugs in same ticket with park hopper and LL, but buy 4 days get the 5th free, its $729.

Anybody else see this?

Might just go with UnderCoverTourist

I always use UT for DLR tickets. Consistently great experience, good pricing, and they allow you to exchange tickets if a deal comes out later. The only benefit I see to booking tickets direct is using gift cards, but it takes so much effort for that to be better than UT's pricing.

I just purchased 2-5 day park hoppers with LL from UT with their adult tickets for kid prices. I also found a promo code for them by googling and saved $30.

Straight from Disney-1552
Gift card save 5%=1475
Get away today 5th day free: 1478 (make it make senseeeee)
Get away today adult at kids prices: 1438
UT adults at kid prices- 1440
UT adults at kids with $30 off promo code=1410

I don't understand the get away today hype. We had a bad experience with them a few years ago with our tickets not working at the gate. They boast payment plans but don't release the tickets until paid in full so I don't understand why someone would do a payment plan with them when they can do one with Disney and book their reservations before paid off. I have never found get away today to be cheaper.

We aren't eligible for salute tickets but we can buy tax free slightly discounted tickets on base. For Disneyland this doesn't really make a big difference but it does for DisneyWorld.

Get Away Today historically has had the best pricing on DLR. UT had the best prizing on WDW. It could very well be that UT had surpassed GAT, or it could be that either one could have the best price, dependent on the time. I buy resident passes for DLR but for WDW, AAPR has had the best pricing. Maybe give them a try for DLR?

GAT has negotiated rates with most DLR area hotels. You’ll often often the best price with some added inclusions, like breakfast and park transportion.
