I had him. He was pretty good...not great--but he was energetic and fun, which is always good. In his defense, the things that bothered me were probably my own fault as I did not give him a whole lot of direction as I don't know a ton about good party music. I felt he was a little needy. I had asked for two dedication dances for three couples, a longest married couple dance, and he wouldn't do those until I was present and standing and watching--I kind of just wanted that done--but again, I didn't tell him that so he was probably being conscientious and making sure I didn't miss them. He did invite everyone to dance during the wedding party dance, which made it weird with some of my bridal party dancing together and some of the bridal party dancing with their dates, but it all worked out and no one knew any differently. He also mispronounced my parents name, despite us spelling it phonetically and going over it in the back room--but it made my parents laugh the whole way down the staircase--and we laugh every time we watch it on the video. We had asked for zero line dances and when my 14 year old cousin hounded him enough, he kept my cousin away from us and he came over and addressed it--i thought that was good. We ended up letting them do the line dance and JR went out on the floor with a wireless mic and taught it to everyone. I thought it was great! Most importantly, he kept the dance floor going!! He did play the last song before our time limit was up--but i figured that was WDW direction and not just him choosing to cut out early.
