Ok.....who is disgusted with the Casey Anthony outcome?
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

I'll probably be the lone dissenter, and please don't hate me , but I'm not. In all honesty, based on what I know from following the case my vote would have been not guilty. Mind you this is from the outside looking it. What I'm disgusted and furious about are some comments people I know have been making.

I'll be "slumming" it for my birthday! But not in February. Can I officially say I'm staying at the Villas now? Diva trip is so more imprtant than a silly old birthday, gosh darnit.

We are opposite. I'll be slumming it in Feb, but staying in a villa for my birthday in October.

I don't even know what to say about that verdict. Everyone associated with it from Casey Anthony herself to the jurors, to the lawyers will have to live with their part in it, whether right or wrong. Especially Casey. Only she knows what really happened and she will have to try and live with that.....if she can.

Well, people will probably hate me too because I can see your point. The jurors were being asked to sentence her to the death penalty. As a juror, how can you do that with good conscience if you have even a slight shred of doubt?

There's no doubt she is a sicko who lied and did unthinkable things, but is she a murderer? If the prosecution cannot rid the jurors minds of all reasonable doubt then how can they say she's guilty? They have to live with themselves too. I'm not sure I could sentence someone to death if even a tiny part of me was feeling the slightest bit unsure.....

But like I said, Casey Anthony knows what happened, she knows what she did and it will haunt her forever......if she can handle it. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up on drugs and/or alcohol and tries to kill herself.

Just my thoughts. It's all so sad though. And I am disgusted by the entire thing.

Well, if it comes down to it we can be hated together Beth. Some people have gotten really pissy with me today for not being crazy mad about it. I felt very awkward about it and honestly didn't want to talk to anyone all day once I heard the verdict.

Thankfully my friend from HS didn't bring it up on our walk today. She knows me too well even after 6+ years.

I'm on the fence. I didn't watch the case, I just read about it online. As a parent I'm disgusted that another parent would be out partying if your child is missing. I'm sad that we may never find out what really happened. Casey & her parents both lied. As my friend Jen (a Kittitas county prosecutor) said, that is boggles her mind. That if anything they proved Casey was a liar. And a bunch of lawyer stuff I didn't understand.
But IF she DID do it, I wasn't there, I don't know (today, I took off my judgemental hat, to be open to the verdict), that she will have to live with what she has done for the rest of her life.
But all I know is this little girl will never have justice for her death and it will probably remain a mystery.

Well, everyone is very upset and emotional, and no one really saw this coming. But I think to come down hard on the jurors is wrong. They did their job the best they could with the info they were given. I don't imagine it was a decision any of them took lightly and I'm sure for months to come many will second guess if they did the right thing.

I didn't watch either. And I'm no expert on the human psyche, but I think she was able to go out and party because she was so disconnected from what had happened. She may not be insane, but she wasn't all there either. No one who can do what she did and then go party is completely right in their head.
Some people just have this ability to block certain things out and totally disconnect from what's happening around them. I don't understand it because it's not the way my brain works. It's not the way most of us act or think. But it happens as we've seen time and time again in cases like this.

I completely agree with you that the most tragic part is never knowing for sure, with complete certainty what happened that day. I guess that's between Casey Anthony and her God now.




Anyway, that's all I'll say because it is such a touchy subject and I know everyone here probably has strong feelings on the whole thing, and I definitely do not want to upset anyone.

SarahMay - Love the WDW planning. When are you going? Have you been on a Disney cruise before? We are going on out first Disney cruise in Nov. I gotta change my dates yet again, I am sure that my travel agent is going to kill me!

We are doing the 4 night on the Dream heading out November 6. What about you? I have never been on a Disney cruise before though I have toured one of the ships when I was a travel agent. We will be off the ship on the 10th and then at WDW through the 16th.

This weekend is NKOTBSB! So excited for that one too!

Kinder Fest, is fun! down the big hill they have a huge slip in slide, lots of free stuff for the kids, face painting, sno cones, small woods petting zoo, clowns, bounce house, arts & crafts, lots of fun stuff! They have it every 4th of July.

So I am deffinitely going this year thursday through monday. I will be at the meet and greet, I want to participate in the Photopass share, I am a sprinter for the scavy hunt which I am really looking forward to! My must dos are all the new rides...Star Tours, Ariel, etc, and I must eat at Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe!

Morning all!

Mel I am really excited about the AI concert too and I think you and I are the only Scotty lovers out there so I will def blow him a kiss for both of us!! We have always wanted to go to one of these so we are all really excited to see all the contestants!

As far as the Casey case I haven't been following it either just heard various info but I guess my only thing is that I personally feel that my girls are THE most important thing to me no matter what and all I know is that no matter WHAT was going on with them whether they were just missing or if she knew there was something wrong ie she knew Kaylee was dead from drowning and they just did something to her whether she did anything to her or not. I could not live with myself or even go OUT! I would be devestated! I guess that is what I don't get. I know everyone is different but I just don't get people I guess. But I do believe in God and in judgment and if she didn't get any here on earth I believe she WILL get some down the road. It is just a shame because now she is left to possibly do more harm. I just hope she doesn't have any more kids and hurt them. I hope she is considered unfit at least!

Anyway nuff of that.

As for the trip mom and I's only must do's I think are anything that may be new at the time we go. We have done the two new rides and we are going again in November so hopefully will get to try the new restaurants and goofy's sky school at that time so not sure if there will be anymore new stuff between Nov and Feb but otherwise we just really enjoy visiting with everyone old and new and my fav part is the meals and having drinks and just seeing everyone and also the scavy hunt and the meet and greet. We go so many other times of the year that mom and I hardly do any rides when we are there although Mel we will def have to ride tower at least once!!

just now on Today one of the reserve jurists stated he would not have convicted either. He gave 2 reasons state did not show how Caylee died and stated that no motive as grandparents watched Caylee when ever Mom wanted to go out. I wish the state would have tried for a lessor charge and I do think the out come would have been different.

So may questions remain. Just like in the OJ trial this will never be over until there is a definitive answer. Sad that Mom can never be tried for murder ever again as she was found not guilty of capital murder. Wish the State had left an open door for a retrial if more evidence was found.

The reserve jurist gave indication that not guilty was conclusion jury got from evidence even though it may not have been what they thought really happened.

The guilty know how Caylee died maybe one day we will all know truth.

Bella, Mommau4, and Tinkermel you are not alone in thoughts----12 others thought same.

It is just one very sad day, but one day-- one day.

Well, it's up to Mel of course, but if you are a fast walker, I'd say that puts you in the middle marathoner category. The walker category is more for those who like to stroll along. The marathoner is those who like to speed walk, and the sprinter is for those who haul butt the entire time!!

At least, that's my take on it. Melody, let me know if I'm wrong so I'm not giving out bogus information.


Also you mentioned you are in the villa that Carol is getting and you lost me a bit there.....sorry, lack of sleep and all.
