What?? That's so awesome, Sarah!!! :cool1: Lucky girl. Now you know you are going to have to take tons, and tons of photos of the Halloween stuff to share with me. I'm jealous! And what an awesome deal you got. Shoot, you cannot beat that price. :thumbsup2

I was looking at peoples photos from past years and it looks like they have a bunch of those big inflatable items and ghosts hanging in the Atrium. It will be fun to dress up and go dancing on Halowwen night.

A few years ago DBF and I went to Body English at the Hard Rock for Halloween. It was SO packed but we had a blast. There were some crazy costumes! I was worried that my pirate costume was too short but most of the girls just had on lingerie with wings or something! :scared1: So I was actualled pretty covered up! :rotfl:

WHEW glad I don't have to read everything! I've read about 35 pages and my eyes are crossing (but since I'm at work and have nothing better to do...):rolleyes1

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

A little about myself (other than the fact that I have longingly lurked on many a girls-trip threads...)

I'm 38, from San Dimas (yes Bill & Ted had an excellent adventure here) and go to DL at least once a month with the four kiddos and DH.

Favorite ride by far is Soarin'. If I had to pick a DL ride Splash Mountain at night (there is nothing like getting soaking wet over and over again with the kids belly laughing the whole time before we drag our soggy butts home).

I've been in a Disney slump lately, that happens everytime we come back from a DCL trip..so maybe this will give me something to help bring back the magic!

:wave2:HI everyone, I'm thinking about joining your group but i'm overwhelmed with 100+ pages of past posts to catch up on.

I see the gals meet every year and think how much fun it would be...but I've been too much of a wuss to jump in..So here I am. Only took 5 years..but I've finally build up the moxie to say "Hi and Can I come too?" :upsidedow

Hi Andrea :wave2:

Maybe me Theresa. I'm trying to book a quickie trip to see Mickey with some SoCal pals right now, but our plans have us arriving May 7th. :guilty:

Well poop. We're going home that morning........ (uh, you do know that's the day for the POTC4 premier, right???)

I love this picture of my DD !!!

I'm here. I've been on the cruise critic boards these past few days. We just booked an 8 day/7night cruise for October. :cool1:

I'm super excited. :woohoo: Plus we leave the day before Halloween so Carnival decorates for Halloween and does a costume contest and stuff.

:cool1: So exciting, where is the cruise going?

:goodvibes Welcome, I am a newbie too, this will be my first trip! And Splash is my favorite at night with the nephew or Grizzly bear Run, nothing better than letting him go over and over and loving it!

:goodvibes:goodvibes Evening ladies.

We woke up to a Blizzard and about 2 inches of snow already on the ground :scared1: Walked the dog, and it was horrible. Got home showered and ready for work, and it was all gone

Been a busy busy week at work, very much looking forward to the weekend, although tons of yardwork and housework to be done, company is coming in next week. And then there is the Tulip Festival and a big street fair, but I am not gonna head to that if it is pouring down rain :rolleyes1

Howdy ho Divas!

Welcome Andrea! It's about time you jumped on board! J/K! LOL!
I am one of the older Divas here. (Age wise, but definitely young at heart.) This will be my 5th trip! Just think.... a chance to come and do whatever your little heart desires. Eat, ride, sleep, eat, shop, eat, and so on. I believe we are a great group of ladies, and we do have a bunch of fun! I hope you and all lurkers decide to join us!!! :thumbsup2

Kelly, I am hoping Scotty takes all. Love his voice. I was totally upset last week, when Pia was voted out. What a shock!! I think millions were in shock too. I believe everyone thought she was a slam dunk, so nobody voted for her. Because of that, she was out. I think she was probably one of the best singers, AI has ever had. Hard to believe what happened. :sad2:

Theresa and Kathy, You are in for one busy time at DL. Ooooooooh, maybe you will see Johnny!! :cool1:

I think I am going down to DL at the end of this month! My DDs Becky and Kaitlyn are going too. My sweet grandson Luca is tagging along too. :cloud9:

Thankyou to all of you with well wishes for my son and DIL. :grouphug: Right now we are just hoping and praying all will go well with them. So many things can happen with multiples.

Hi Beth! Thanks for being you and keeping us going!

Welcome to the fun, Andrea! I just went for the first time this year and this group of ladies - er, DIVAS! - are awesome. Glad you jumped in.

Angie and I are all set to go to the PNW MouseMeet in June. Tickets are on sale now through the website for a really good price - $24.99. We're booked at the Embassy Suites for Friday and Saturday :yay: Is anyone else still going to this event?? I haven't seen much posting about it but I'm hoping to see a good group of Divas there :thumbsup2 We should wear matching t-shirts

Mel, have a great time at Disneyland. Too bad you'll be there just before we go :upsidedow It's been over a year since I was there, so I'm missing the Mouse right now. Gotta go and get my pixie dust fix :woohoo:

Another quick hello! (so looking forward to Monday when I can catch up on the thousands of pages you ladies have chatted on!) I am headed to Reno in the morning - yay I got the day off!. I am entering on of my tattoos in a competition at the Tattoo Convention. This is my first time doing so, so I am super thrilled! Plus, I have never been to Reno since I have been 21! Have a wonderful weekend ladies! Miss you all!!!

Morning all!

Welcome Andrea!!

Mel I agree I really like Scotty and Lauren esp when they sing duets and I think they will def be future country stars!! I like Casey but not sure if he will translate too well into mainstream but then I think most of the kids this year are talented and they have their niche that they could fit into. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Beth I DO like Rob but I agree that he can be a little overbearing and it is annoying how his group just follows him around. Like I said it will be interesting to see once all the other tribe is gone if any of them makes a power play or not. I couldn't STAND rob in his first season but then I kind of grew to like him in the season with Amber and then I really liked him when he and amber were on amazing race. He kind of grew on me. I think he has gotten better and he CAN be a little annoying BUT in this game you have to be a bit conniving and you HAVE to be smart. If you just sit around and be nice and not be smart you just get voted off. And he is not anywhere NEAR as jerky as Russell. But that is just my opinion ;)

Theresa have fun at Disney! I can't WAIT to go!! I still have almost 2 months left. I have the rest of April and all of May and then 2 weeks of June so quite a bit but the fun part is we are leaving 2 days after the girls get out of school so it is kind of a fun way to count down to the end of school and soon our swim meets are going to start so we will be so busy with them the time will fly.

Jen have fun in Reno. My parents have a place in Truckee which is not too far from Reno but every time we go up we never actually go into Reno and like you I haven't been in a long time.

I am off to work today. Shane got laid off again :( He is off till at least Wed of next week possibly longer. Kind of sucks cuz it really puts a damper on enjoying the weekend and next week when you have to worry about money again. But such is life I guess and we are used to it. Anyway I will just be glad when today is over and I can get on to the weekend and to the girls break!!

Have a good day all and for those that have kids starting spring break this week enjoy!!!

Andrea - :welcome:

I lurked for a while also last year then decided to jump in and just do it! Can't tell you how much fun I had on the trip! So please just start reading along and make plans to come with us - I promise you won't regret it!

Hi Beth! Thanks for being you and keeping us going!

Mel - I am right there with you age wise but agree - young at heart!! Maybe it is the Disney obsession that keeps us young!!

Hope all goes well with the pregnancy - keep us posted!

Hey Jess - great game last night! Go Sharks!

Have a great day Divas!

Good morning ladies! Looks like another pretty day ahead for most of us.

TGIF!! It's felt like a really long week. Told my DH last night that I was sure glad it was Friday, and he had to burst my bubble about it only being Thursday night.

I won't be at DL those dates, but I will be in San Diego! Hope you have a great time with your sis in DL and that you are able to meet up with some of the local Divas.

I just noticed your new tickers in your signature Beth. I had been watching your San Diego ticker move toward DDay so all your planned trips were a big change.
How exciting to plan for those!
:yay:

(uh, you do know that's the day for the POTC4 premier, right???)

Oh my, I did NOT realize that. Dang it, I clearly need to check the DLR calendar.
We're still discussing dates, so I'll have to let the SoCal folks know that we should probably stay far away that day.

Have a great Dis Diva day ladies!!!

He grew on me too and now I hope he'll win. I can understand why the others follow him, they know that he knows the game so well and they hope to get to the top with him.

I'm in that group too !!!

I don't know what you're talking about...nobody here is a day over 39. :rolleyes1
Well, except maybe Jodi, who just turned 40! hehe :goodvibes

Cute pic!! I love Halloween and dressing up. You two look great. And I can see how that costume would actually be considered conservative by Vegas standards. :lmao: Next time, just shorten the skirt, skip the top and add pasties instead. You'll fit right in. :rotfl2:
Do you have any costume ideas for the cruise?

Hi Andrea! My in-laws live in Simi Valley. Well, technically it's Moorpark but close enough. ;)
We are hoping to drive out there in June to visit with them, and while I am out there maybe do a mini meet for lunch with some of the ladies out that way. If we do, you should join us! :)

I love Soarin, and Splash. Two of my favorites other than Haunted Mansion and Pirates.

If you feel comfortable doing so, go ahead and post or send me a photo of yourself and I'll add you to the front page. :thumbsup2

(Any other ladies who are new to the trip this year, if you haven't already sent me a photo or posted one, feel free to do so and I can add you as well! It's fun to "see" the other ladies before the trips.)

I love this picture of my DD !!!
Does she ever take a bad photo?? LOL Seriously, she's so cute. And you take good ones too. I love your mother/daughter pics. Especially the matching jammies. :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Good luck on the housework. I spent the morning cleaning up around here. My daughter has a friend sleeping over tonight and my inlaws will be here Sunday, so I figured I'd better tidy up a bit more than usual. ;)
The Tulip Fair sounds fun! My mom lives in MI and was thinking of going to the tulip fair out in Holland, MI. They have a cute little Dutch town there. I love little street festivals like that. Hope the weather stays nice so you can go.

Just think.... a chance to come and do whatever your little heart desires. Eat, ride, sleep, eat, shop, eat, and so on.
Don't forget EAT!! Oh. Wait. Okay. You mentioned it in there. Good. :thumbsup2 Can't forget the most important part. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
