Has anyone ever purchased distilled water at a resort gift shop? I am travelling with a cpap machine and would prefer to go straight to the World when we arrive. Thanks in advance for any info.

I have never seen distilled water on property. My DH uses a cpap and when we travel by air he just uses the machine without the humidifier option. We have also been told, if necessary you can use regular bottled water if it's just for a short period of time. You might want to check with the company you got the machine from to see if you can do the same with yours.

Inevitably someone will tell you that they might carry distilled water at the Hess stations on property. I specifically looked for it last week when I stopped for gas, and no, they do NOT carry distilled water.

Your best bet is to either use regular water, make a grocery stop off property, or use a company like Garden Grocer or We Go Shop to do a delivery.

Thank you for the information.:thanks: I will know not to waste time looking for it !

I'd call the resort shop and ask. If they don't they may be able to order it for you.
i have a cpap, but drove and could bring a gallon. But I'm pretty sure i saw a gallon jug at the gift shop in POR in August.

Most people who have posted about CPAP machines over the years on the disABILITIES Board find that with the extra humidity in the air, they don't need to use the CPAP's humidity. Others checked with the company their machine was from and have just used tap water.

There's a pharmacy that delivers to Disney resorts:

I don't know how much they charge for this service :confused3

We once had to have prescriptions delivered to the BW, and the fee was either $10 or $20, sorry I can't remember which. If I get a chance I'll go through some old records and try to figure it out tonight.

My dad uses the same machine. We went to the concierge & they ordered it from the Pharmacy that delivers for us. With the delivery fee it cost a total of $7 for a gallon. Now on DCL, we put a request in ahead of time & when my parents entered their cabin, there it was & we weren't even charged for it! :goodvibes
