My husband is a promoter for ViSalus and they just sent us a high alert message to let us know that all charity donations made will be sent to relief efforts for our ViSalus family as well as for the fire fighters and others helping battle this horrible blaze!

My nephew is in Manitou Springs. He was fortunate enough to be on the other side of the fire he said, so no evacuation where he was. But he was helping people evacuate Sunday. Hopefully things will start improving.

We *just* sold our home literally two months ago. It was in Oak Valley Ranch up the road from Mountain Shadows, the road closest to the Scar. I used to take the kids for our daily walk all along that road the trucks used for the mining operations. We don't know if the house survived or not. I've been following the coverage obsessively and I know lots of our neighbors were displaced. It's heartbreaking. I have a lot of survivor's guilt because we're safe halfway across the country. It's just heartbreaking.

thanks everyone was informed last night that our home was still standing. Just 2 left on our street mine and my next door nighbor. Thanks for all the prayers. Can't say i am happy seeing pictures it is like a war zone and have some guilt that is spared my

Was in Colorado Springs about 7 years ago. Beautiful area and I did fall in love with your entire state!

Praying for you!! I've been praying for all the fires to end as I know a lot of friends are displaced. I also live in Colorado, about 10 mins from golden so I'm safe so far but it's pretty scary. My heart is with you all
