Disnwy with 12 yr old!

We are returning to Disney with our DS this year since our first visit. He was 6 then....so we waited tooo long!! LOL I wonder what things he would enjoy. He is very skiddish about roller costers even similated rides..how can I help him conquer this fear so that he'll enjoy the full experience!???

As far as roller coasters go, start him off with Big Thunder Mountain RailRoad. If really isn't scary. It's out in the open, doesn't to up side down. If he enjoys that, move on the space mountain. I hope he tries them, they really are lots of fun. Enjoy your trip.

I know the feeling. Last summer my son, also 12, was skiddish about roller coasters. The very first ride we did at the world was Rockin' Roller Coaster at MGM. Needless to say, he was way freaked out. He refused to do Tower of Terror or Space Mountain! Even on Splash Mountain, he was uneasy but made it through with clenched teeth. However, he LOVED Mission Space and the experience after it. Test Track was a big hit too. Overall, Epcot's Future World was more his speed as was Typhoon Lagoon. I think with some chances to contribute to the touring plan, your son will be fine and have a great time!
