Cannot wait to be back at our favorite resort, Beach Club! We will be there 5/12 - 5/22. Cannot wait to be sipping on an adult beverage at SAB

I'd love anyone's thoughts on my upcoming 1BR Resort View Beach Club stay this June. Any room requests I should make? Our last stay was at Boardwalk, and we LOVED walking right into Epcot, riding Surrey Bikes, and the whole vibe of Crescent Lake. We definitely plan to spend some time at the pool. Any other things we should do on our resort days?

I'd also love dining recommendations. We're considering Cape May or Ale & Compass for sit down meals and we want to try Beaches and Cream. For quick service, are Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hannah's, or Ale & Compass Marketplace any good? Or is it better to just boat/walk over to Boardwalk for the deli or pizza window?

As far as views go, we like a fireworks view.

We find that the Beach Club Marketplace has enough options for us for breakfast. Lunch and dinner have more options, including the menu at Hurricane Hanna and the three lounges - Martha's Vinyard, Crews Cup and A&C' lounge.

The BC markeplace has a limited amount of grocery items that you can use in your kitchen in the villa. There are plenty of options right there.

We find that the Beach Club Marketplace has enough options for us for breakfast. Lunch and dinner have more options, including the menu at Hurricane Hanna and the three lounges - Martha's Vinyard, Crews Cup and A&C' lounge.

I agree 100% and I will only add that A&C restaurant also has a mobile menu for easy pick-up of food options for use or reuse in your 1 BR BCV.

Then you might consider branching to the Boardwalk, Swan & Dolphin (15+ dining options) before you even need to consider leaving the Crescent lake area.

I say this so often people are probably sick of me, but my advice is: never request "near elevator" at BCV unless you have mobility issues. The elevators there have a very annoying whirring sound which you can hear in nearby rooms.

PP mentioned restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin. The Swan/Dolphin has its own app, so it's a good idea to download it. You can check the menus, but many people think the Fountain restaurant at the Dolphin has food which is comparable to Beaches & Cream, but the Fountain is calmer, quieter, and less crowded.

For grab-and-go items, it's a good idea to check the market at Ale & Compass as well as Beach Club Marketplace. They don't have the same items. If anybody in your group happens to be Gluten Free, the market at Ale & Compass has a bigger selection of boxed snacks. (And the gluten free brownie which is in a clear clamshell container and appears to be made on property -- it's gross. Don't get it.)

Hop the skyliner to check out Riviera, their quick service is great. As is Topolino. You could even go to CBR, AoA or Pop to any of their food courts. We stay at YC most trips, we love Cake Bake Shop at Boardwalk. There’s a new signature Bourbon Steakhouse at the Dolphin that’s excellent as well.

We like Cape May for breakfast, but not as much for dinner.

Yes, BC accepts grocery deliveries and will refrigerate or freeze relevant items, as long as they’re separated and clearly marked. There’s a $6 charge if Bell Services delivers them to your room.

In regard to favorite services, there are several good ones including Amazon, and I’m sure you’ll soon see posts with suggestions. We recently used Kroger, but they will stop delivering in the Orlando area at the end of January, so I can’t recommend them for you.

We found Beachclub Marketplace underwhelming but it had enough to get by! We mostly got our lunch at Hurricane Hannahs if we were having a pool day. Do you have an AP or Park Hopper? You could also walk into EPCOT and grab something quick! I love seafood (from coastal MA) but the smell of seafood at Cape May is strong, FYI. It is a turnoff for my husband who doesn't eat seafood and even I found it really strong. We thought Ale and Compass was okay, nothing special but also not bad by any means. We enjoyed Yachtsman too! It's also easy to hop on the Skyliner and enjoy Topolinos (grab a drink at Bar Riva before) or try Sebastians at CBR. I liked Flying Fish at the BW. We'll be back in March and have Trattoria Al Forno on our list. Enjoy! Great news is no matter what you'll be at Disney! We're also staying in a 1 bedroom but at the Villas.

Deliveries are definitely accepted and will be delivered to the BC entrance. If you're there to meet the delivery there is no charge but like mentioned before there is a $6 charge if bell services accepts it. We've used DoorDash our last few trips and get the deliveries with an hour or so of ordering. I've found with Amazon that delivery times can take up to few hours or depending how late you place the order, bounced to the next day.

With any delivery service if you're ordering alcohol, someone old enough to drink has to meet the delivery person with their ID.

Thanks to everyone who had tips about Marathon viewing - my niece decided the built-in option of viewing from the BW area is the best option for the 4YO - my sister and I are very happy with this decision! But thanks - you guys mentioned a lot of things I hadn't thought of!

On to lunch - does Hurricane Hannah's still serve the kids meals in a pail? It's not mentioned on the menu...thanks!
