We were staying at the WDW when the Christmas tree went up several years ago. We had a room overlooking the lobby and had a great view. They started work around 10 pm at night. There were hi lifts and lots of crates. I didn't stay up to watch it, but it was all finished during the night.

“I heard from a worker at the lodge “The tree” will be going up on the 20th.”

He also stated his wife works there, and she was the one who asked. We’ll find out soon!

Wanted to update, the tree DID NOT go up today, as rumored. Maybe this evening?

Treat Stand is supposed to go up tomorrow.

I figured when they said the 20th, they meant that evening. Usually it goes up at night. But the CM also may have just been guessing. We will see come tomorrow morning.

I assumed the morning of the 20th (going up at midnight and everything up this morning.) Keeping an eye on it! Maybe tomorrow!

Curious to know, has anyone has seen Christmas themed refillable mugs this year. They didn't have any Halloween themed ones when we were there in September, but hoping there will be Christmas mugs when we are back there in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

We will be arriving early on check-in day in January and thought we might want to wander and "explore" a bit. I saw a post on FB that showed a seating area or something on the 4th floor. Anyone have any info on this?

Are there any other little things like this around the hotel? I thought I remembered reading about a small fireplace and seating area on one of the floors but maybe I dreamt that?

What dates??



We arrive the day you leave. We'll be staying over in Boulder Ridge the 25th to February 1st.

Bummer, we'll miss you. We are there Jan. 12-16th. It would have been fun to try to meet up for a drink; I feel like I kind-of know you already!

Copper Creek Villas December 2024 Condominium Meeting Recap

The refresh of Copper Creek Villas is scheduled to begin in late Spring 2025. It is a smaller-scale refresh of the rooms which is scheuled to occur after 7 years. Changes will include new fabrics, art work, more Disney intellectual property (characters, theming), new curtains, updated color palette. Crews will take approimately 12 to 16 villas at a time out of operation. Thefull projject may take a year to complete, but schedule has not yet been finalized.

A decision has not been made as to whether Copper Creek rooms will receive the Murphy-style pull-down sofa beds.

Is the Geysir working again? When we stayed at CCV at the beginning of November they Geysir did not work. During our vacation in 2023 it didn't work either. It also seems that the area around the Geysir is not well maintained. I was wondering if it has been out of order for a long time.
