Water Outage to Impact Select Areas of Disney's Wilderness Lodge Today

Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be experiencing a complete water outage today from approximately 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. This water outage will impact several rooms on the 5th and 7th floor, as well as the following common areas:

• Restrooms near Roaring Fork (the restrooms near Territory Lounge and Whispering Canyon will be available);
• Wilderness Lodge Guest Laundry (the Copper Creek laundry will be available);
• Club Level Service (Guests will still have access to a selection of beverages during the snack period)

How well do pack and plays fit in the regular 2 queen rooms? The pictures make the rooms look kind of tight so its hard to tell and I've seen people mention that they're smaller rooms.

The rooms will fit the portable crib that the resort provides. The little table and two chairs can be moved or you could put the crib in front of the connecting door.

How well do pack and plays fit in the regular 2 queen rooms? The pictures make the rooms look kind of tight so its hard to tell and I've seen people mention that they're smaller rooms.

Two years ago, we put it in front of the connecting door. It is a bit tight but still room to walk in front of without turning. The rooms are sadly not super spacious.

Anyone know what is happening with the BRV room refurbishment? I'm a little nervous they are going to push it back again because of the new Poly DVC. We are staying at BRV in October and I'm debating seeing about availability at CC or another DVC.

Construction Work to Take Place at Disney's Wilderness Lodge This Afternoon

Guests staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge should be aware that construction work will take place today (Sunday, March 20, 2022) in the Boulder Ridge area of the resort from now until 4 p.m.

Crews will be cutting through concrete to adjust some of the walkways; as a result, Guests may hear some very loud noises during that time. This work is expected to be completed today, but that is subject to change depending on operational needs.

1) Unfortunately, no.

2) It’s hit or miss. Some guards will allow you to enter without a reservation of some kind (ex. resort/dinner), but others will not. Best to arrive by rideshare or bus for your best chance.

The walking trail remains closed and it’s hit or miss on the guard letting you in to park without a dining reservation.

We were there 3 weeks ago staying at Bay Lake. I stopped at the gate at WL first thing in the morning and asked this very question. The guard assured me it would be fine to stop that night and eat at Roaring Forks. When we arrived that evening the guard just waved us through without even asking for ID. However, I have a theory about that. It was VERY close to park closing. They may realize that late in the evening that there is nothing gained by parking at the resort.

Just added an additional night extending our stay this fall. Wanted to have another non-park day to enjoy the lodge!

Rideshare is not guaranteed either (I know from firsthand experience). Best bet is to arrive by Disney transportation only.

Can y'all tell me about the storage in a nature view room at WL? I watched a couple of youtube videos, but am having a hard time getting a good grasp of how much storage there is. I see a dresser with six drawers-are they pretty deep? I also see a cabinet type of storage and closet...do those hold a good bit of clothing as well? There are four of us. we will likely have two large suitcases, one for DH and I and one for both DDs.

Will our suitcases fit under the beds? There looked like there good be room but I am, again, not sure based on what I've watched.

The six drawer dresser is a typical, full size dresser.


There is at least one drawer and some storage space in the nightstand between the beds. Suitcases will fit under the beds. The closet has separate compartments but is a good size.

The closets have so much space. We stored luggage in the closets, as well as under the beds.
I thought the dresser drawers were not too deep from front to back.
Plenty of storage though for 3-4 people for a week.

Love being able to unpack and feel at home!

What is the average ride time to each park?
Is there a bus directly to Typhoon Lagoon from WL?
