The splash pad height requirement is good to know & could be a sore spot for oldest DD. She may be close to 51" by then, but YDD & DNiece will be under 48".

I hate breaking rules. I count shopping cart items tom ale certain I qualify for the speed checkout of 10!

Hard to tell, but doesn't look like tables are attached. I'm happy with a small smackeral of shade!

Thanks pixarmom and johnsonet. Have either of you taken the boat or walked to Ft. Wilderness, I was thinking about doing that as well, since I haven't been there either.

I once ran over to Ft. Wilderness when I was training for my first 5K. It was gorgeous and there is no other Disney resort I've stayed at that had such nice paths. My daughter and I have also walked down the sandy lane that doesn't seem to appear on the map. It was a lovely walk, with some interesting views of Bay Lake Tower, especially. And also wildlife! Here are some pics - All from back in 2010.

The merchandise photos come back to haunt me! I should have purchased that travel mug and that hoodie. Funny that we loved our return to WL and our first stay at OFC so much, because "wilderness" is not a term frequently associated with my family or with me!

Ahahahha....You sound like me! I am NOT a wilderness kind of gal either, but do love the WL (second only to the GF).

Kook, thanks for the pictures, particularly of the new merchandise. I have to have one of those mugs!!

LOL! We came home with three MORE this trip: CR, retro Adventureland and Haunted Mansion, plus more refillable mugs. We need to build a Disney mug cabinet

The WL laundry was closed when I was there last week. There are photos of the WL laundry before rehab (last summer) in the LAUNDRY/GUEST SERVICES chapter of the thread. They are converting the laundry rooms over to credit card-only usage. The CR was already converted and these are the photos from CR's laundry which I suspect will be just like WL:

So excited that we are almost to our 180 day mark for a week at WL OFC. Doing a bit of last minute dining reservation planning and purchasing our MNSSHP tickets.

Does anyone know how many CM's work in the OFC on average each week?
