Does anyone know how strict they are being at the new splash pad on heights? My brother wants to stay at my WL, but his girls are a little over the height and he is considering another resort where they can have more pool time.
Our seven year old grandson was able to play in the splashpad and he is about 52 inches tall. I think they just want to keep the big kids out.

And parents can go in there to be near their children. There are chairs in there.

Pixarmom - Our stay in January was the same! I loved the lounge. So many seating options. :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great trip!

Anyone know what time the Wilderness Lodge campfire is in May? It was 6:30pm in March, but I'm thinking 7pm or 7:30pm in May?

I would love to know what activities are happening at WL late April - can anyone help?

Are the calanders on MDE?
There is a calendar on the MDE site which includes operating times for the restaurants, stores, campfire, health club, and other activites, but doesn't list things like the movies on the beach. To access this resort calendar, go to your MDE account, scroll down to My Itinerary, and click on a date. You'll see a button called View Schedule. When you click on that you can see schedules for parks, resorts and other destinations like Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk area.

The campfire is at 7pm tonight. :)

You might be able to get the Wilderness Lodge activity calendar from this website:

But I only see March listed. :(

Staying 1st time at WL in June for 2 days. I will be going to the parks but have my arrival day- ( I get there early- hopefully) to enjoy the resort. What do you recommend, any hints, hidden mickeys etc. I need to know or would be fun to explore.

Thanks

Besides the actvities at the lodge like swimming, biking, boating, the campfire, movies on the beach, and the hidden Mickey hunt, there is a very nice hiking trail to Fort Wilderness. You can explore the campgrounds, visit the horses, take archery lessons, go horseback riding, go to the Chip and Dale Sing Along and take the boat back to the WL. You can also take a boat to the Contemporary from the Wilderness Lodge and explore the monorail resorts.

7th floor Club level only?
Yes, the 7th floor is club level only. :)

Thanks for this! My 6 year old is 50 inches and I was hoping he would be able to check it out.

So excited to be coming in next Tues with my DD. This will be our first visit to WL. Thanks Pixarmom for your great review! Wood Nymph I have always enjoyed what a great job you do on this site!:):)

If you want to add us we are only there for a quick trip....4/14-4/16 staying CL. Thanks!

HBGdancermom, thanks so much for the kind words! Have a wonderful trip with your daughter - our 8-year-old loves it when we have time our own together. Hope you love WL CL as much as we do!

All great ideas! We didn't have time for boating at WL, but our boys love the sea racers at BC. So that's definitely on our list for next year. The trail to Fort Wilderness is so much fun - I texted photos of the boys to my parents and they were confused because it looked like we WERE out in the wilderness. We passed the campfire on our walk and then caught part of the movie on the beach when we returned to WL. And we highly recommend the boat to CR / monorail resorts tour - perfect for a rainy day! Also love the view of EWP from WL - so festive!

I wonder why there isn't an April Activities sheet yet? We arrive Thursday, can't wait!
