I'm thinking you need a real life fairy godmother to get that reservation!!

I have the Disney reservations site open right now clicking search on BOG dinner every 10 minutes or so I'm determined and wont give up.

I have rented a DVC studio for a stay in September. What does the kitchenette have? Does it have a toaster and utensils and plates? If so would it be ok to bring a electric griddle so I could cook things like bacon and eggs in the morning? Also is there cleaning supplies like dish soap and a dish rag/sponge?

To get to TL you have to take the bus to DS and transfer to another bus to TL. Same for going back, just in reverse. Total pain. This is one of the worst changes they made last year, IMHO.

Is it still a direct bus to TL before 11 am? That's how it was last summer. Then returning was the switch at DS. Just wondering if that is no longer? We plan to do TL just wondering if it's changed again since last summer.

There is a dish sponge and dish soap. but I don't believe you're allowed to bring an electric fry pan for fire hazard reasons. they have no idea what shape it's in, if there may be shorts, etc). or you may forget about it and leave it plugged in and on. bacon can be cooked in the microwave, as well as scrambled eggs. there is a toaster, utensils and plates. you'd be amazed the things you can cook in a microwave.

I see the electrical water pagaent is in front of the Poly at 9 what happens when Wishes is also at 9? do they run at the same time? what about the sound?

Leaving in 3 days and I'm trying to finalize packing. Do the standard rooms at the poly have make up mirrors? My daughter uses a small lighted one to put in her contacts and I'm trying to decide if I should bring hers along?

I know we have stayed somewhere that had one but can't remember if it was AKL or the Poly...

When we were there last week of March Wishes was at 9 and the electrical water pageant was at 8:50. So they were back to back which was great. I LOVE the water pageant and the view from the Poly beach is awesome!

I'm glad to see @mslhb's post above. When we were there in Feb, Wishes was at 9 and they'd run the EWP exactly at the same time, just with no sound. It was the silliest/dumbest setup ever and I thought it was really bad show. I'm a EWP fan and was pretty annoyed with this. Hopefully my days were just an anomaly.

180 DAYS!! So excited!! I was up at 0500 CST making my ADR's. I got everything I wanted except dinner at Be Our Guest. Snagged a lunch res though.

Best way to get one is to try late in your stay. like if your arriving on a Saturday and leaving the following Sunday, start from that end Saturday and move your way closer to your arrival day. I always got our BOG that way -- good luck!

Have you tried Touring Plans? They have a free reservation finder I believe. Its worth a shot at least

Yes I have it on Touring Plans. They have texted me twice of an opening but they were to early. I did see one pop when I searched though that was on a different day that touring plans did not text. I had 2 days registered in TP but decided to just go for the one day.

Yes from what I was told they have make up mirrors.

Yes, they have make up mirrors, but they are not lighted.

Oh I didnt know they were not lighted. We went to the BC last June and theirs were lighted.

I suppose it can depend on how busy the resort is and also the weather.

We are here right now. It is not too bad if you are not picky about the location and only need one chair. Otherwise, you might be out of luck.

If there is stuff on a chair but no people at the pool who own the stuff I would just put the stuff on the ground and take the chairs. You can't save a chair your not using!

Do they still issue parking passes for those staying at the Poly? I had a question on another board and someone mentioned not being issued passes at the resort (not specified which one) but just scanning the magicband. I know last summer we had one issued when we stayed at the Poly and just returned from a trip where they issued one for the Contemporary. Is this because these are on the monorail and guests try to use their parking?
