We did get ours. It came very fast, in less than a week. It was actually shipped the day after we created it on line. The quality is very nice. The pictures are very clear, at least as clear as the pictures are that you submit. Our grandsons loved it! The "surprises" are very nice and really add to the movie. My only disappointment was that we had downloaded 120 pictures knowing that 68 would be used in the movie production and the rest of them would be used in a slideshow. The website stated that this was to be the case. When we received the DVD it only had the 68 pictures in the movie and the same pictures in a slideshow. (A nice slideshow at that). I called Disney on it and asked about the other pics that were supposed to be used and they stated that it was in BETA which by our conversation meant that it was still in a test mode of sorts.
Overall Ithe DVD. We are planning on going to WDW again in March and will definitely look forward to creating a new movie. BTW, when creating the movie, use pictures that are close ups. The far away shots just aren't defined enough in the movie.
Good luck and have fun making those Disney memories!

Just to warn you though...I had the same problem as a previous poster mentioned...I uploaded between 80-90 photos so there would be extras in addition to the 68 that were in the movie....but when I watched it it was only the first 68 from the movie. I didnt bother to call bc the ones in the movie were my favorite ones anyway, but I guess that "up to 100 photos for the slide show" is not a sure thing. But I am looking forward to see how Disney develops it further! I hope it takes off, its a great idea!!
Hi!! I order a photomovie but I have sooooooo many picutes that I am also doing my own movie. Where did you get the "stock" pictures/videos/music?? I am especially interested in the music. Is there anyplace I can download it? Do you have yours posted somewhere so I can pull it down??? Thanks!!WDWguru said:I do this exact thing at the end of every trip using iMovie and iDVD on my Mac. If I want to get more complex, I use Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. Obviously not everyone has those skills or programs available, but it's really fun to do if you know how. I grab all the photos from the photo pass site, all of my digital photos and video that I shoot and create a DVD scrapbook for everyone that has joined our trip.
I seriously contemplated posting and offereing to do them for others for a small fee (especially seeing how much Disney is charging for this service - yikes). I have "stock" footage of icons, parades, shows, etc, so I don't have to tape each of them for every group. I figured I might get into trouble with copyrights or something, but since it's all personal footage and photos, I'm not sure where that lies. I know it's okay that I'm doing it for myself, and I would think it'd be okay to do for others considering the only service I'm being paid for is editing and burning content you already own. Any legal eagles out there care to weigh in?
