Resort Thread Disney's GRAND FLORIDIAN Resort & Spa + Construction Updates!! **LOBBY REFURB STARTED 4/14**

We are staying at the Grand for 6 days mid-August, we have water view reserved. Does anyone know where our room might be? We are a family of 5. Also, do we need to bring our own coffee to have coffee in the room in the morning? We use milk/cream for our coffee, so wondering if they give the little creamers if they do supply coffee? Does anyone know if they still sell half gallons of milk like they used to? We haven't been to the GF since 2018. Hopefully too much has not changed.

The rooms have Keurig coffee makers, coffee K cups, sugar and creamer. Housekeeping will bring additional coffee supplies, if you call them. You can buy milk in the gift shop.

A few in our group are not big eaters and every night we go for a nice sit down dinner and always have leftovers. Is there anywhere on property that has a microwave that we can reheat any food we bring home from one of the restaurants, if we are spending the day at the resort? We are staying in a standard water view room.

Sure, there's one in Gasparilla's. You can also ask if they can deliver a microwave to your room - they're happy to do that if they have an extra one available.

Nothing yet on the lobby. I saw a couple guys measuring a portion of the lobby yesterday morning and I asked them when they would be starting work…he stated construction walls would go up either tonight or tomorrow morning. I will keep you all updated

Sorry no pics, we were running out the door, our car came early. It was very noisy though!

Morning. Leaving the GF today after 5 great nights. Last night two mangers confirmed the lobby is postponed until after the holidays. They’re afraid of delays ruining the holidays. The rooms in the main building will be started now.

Also there is a surprise planned for the tea room. They said it should be announced soon.

GF cafe is not scheduled to refurbished at all. Which I was surprised it really needs it.

Sago is open, first guests where a couple of nights ago

Things are changing minute to minute here but this was last night. Lol
