Has anyone used the dining paln? does it really save$$$? This is our 6th trip and we are thinking about trying it

I think it can save you money depending on how you use your meal credits and what items you order at the restaurants. Check out the menus of the restarants you are interested in at allearsnet.com and see what the total you would normally spend eating at those places is and then compare it to the dining plan cost.

BTW...Welcome to the DIS!

There are many posts about My way Dining and tips about how to make it work the best, and get the greatest value.

One place to start is www.allearsnet.com They have rest. menus which are great, and will give you prices.

Since you have been to Disney 6 times, you know what your eating style is. Do you like a lot of table meals, or more counter service.

We love table service, and character meals. We have 1 or 2 PS for each day of our trip, so we think the food plan is a good option for us. We have always planned about $125.00/per day for food, so at $90/day for the 4 of us, it is a good deal. Next year when our oldest is 10, she will be $35/day, rather than $10, so we will have tho Do the Math, and see if it as good of a deal. Since she could still order off the kids menus, and get the buffets at the kids price, I doubt as much of a bargain as it is this trip.

Good luck deciding. Have a great 7th trip.
