Resort Thread Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS Resort

Don't rule out Siestas over at the pool. A walk around the lake with a stop at Siestas for lunch ... that would be a good day for me.
We will be hitting the pool after lunch so the plan is to eventually grab a cocktail at Siestas :D

We just returned from a 5-Day, 4-night stay at Coronado in the Casitas preferred room building 1. This was our third stay here and I can't say enough good things about this resort! From check-in to check-out, an amazing experience. We ate at Three-Bridges twice after returning from the park. Food and drinks there are amazing and the atmosphere is outstanding, along with the service. Busses ran often and were reliable. Every cast member we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our only issue was we had incredibly noisy and obnoxious neighbors. We were out of the room most of the day, so it wasn't a major issue. The more time we spend at this resort, the more we fall in love with it. Our stays have been at the Tower, the Casitas, and the Cabanas, and we preferred the Cabanas as it seemed to be a bit more quiet and closer to the main pool and bus stop. Our Tower stay simply didn't feel "Disney" enough, but it was beautiful, and the Casitas, even though preferred, were fairly noisy, far from the main pool and bus stop 2. Just some FYIs for those planning on staying.

Can you tell us what bus stop #1 was? For some reason I thought it was Casitas.

We ended up going to the Tower to catch the bus from Casitas 1 because it was just a tad closer and we could fill up our mugs on the way through. That was another thing...24 hour refill station for mugs is great.

Where is the 24-hour refill station? The last time I was there (July 2021) I was not aware that there was a 24-hour station - perhaps there wasn't one then.

We're booked for October 5-12th, and so excited to stay at this resort! I stayed here back in 2017 and loved it, but haven't been there since the tower was built, so I'm really looking forward to seeign all of the changes. It will also be my parents first time staying on property, since they usually stay off in a time share, so we're looking forward for them to experience being more in the Disney bubble.

Enjoy, Kristen! It's a WHOLE new experience with the tower there now...plussed for sure! The bubble at Coronado is the perfect place as one doesn't even have to leave the grounds to enjoy a day. Looking forward to hearing about your experience. My wife chose to stay here again for February 2026 vs. renting points at Boardwalk!
