Thanks. That's what I thought but some times maps can be deceiving.
Been watching videos and now reading here I'm really excited!!
I have been using the map my walk website. You can do a search for the resort and then use the satellite view to map the route you are thinking of taking and it'll tell you the distance. I've measured from Casitas 4 to the main pool using the bridge and it's .37 mile....completely doable for my family.

I was watching an online video of CS it showed fireworks in the sky over one of the pools. Just wondering which park the fireworks were from. Any idea which pool that might be?

From outside our room (9622) we could see either the 7 or 8PM fireworks (i don't recall which time it was) and 11PM fireworks.

Fireworks - WARNING for those that may have little ones (or old ones) wanting to sleep. The 11 PM (and on a couple of days over Christmas they were at midnight) fireworks at DHS are awesome but VERY LOUD at CSR (at least in business class where we stayed). It woke some of us who had already gone to sleep. They are loud enough you "feel" them.

With that said - we LOVED our stay at CSR and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Just a warning for those that may have issues getting the kiddos back to sleep if woken by such loud noises.

You are absolutely right about that! We stayed business class summer of 2014 when HS had fireworks and I thought it was gunfire at first. The ceiling fan shook. I couldn't believe the child slept through it once. She didn't believe it could be that loud until she heard them the next night. It didn't really matter but I was shocked about how loud it was!

I'm staying here on November 12th through the 19th and I was just wondering, do you think the Convention Center will be hosting anything big? I know it will probably add to the crowds there, but I'm a little afraid it will be unbearable.

Had to switch from CBR to CSR to be able to add an additional day and retain the Spring Vacation discount with a standard room 6/4-6/11. While I was looking forward to CBR, I know that CSR will be great since that's where we've stayed the previous two (and only) times as an adult.

You'll be there on my birthday! Is is relatively quiet there? I stayed at Pop Century last year and it was great until we tried to go to sleep and everyone was loud as could be walking outside our room and slamming doors.

Is business class worth it here? I'm likely planning on staying here for my honeymoon and was wondering if it's worth the extra money for business class.

CSR is very quiet. I, too, found POP to be noisy and CSR was the complete opposite.

It depends on how much extra and what you're hoping for.

BC has a guaranteed building location that is favorable for the feature pool and El Centro. It serves a serviceable breakfast if you're not rope-drop people. In the evening, there are cookies, beer and sangria. My family was able to express the cost difference between a Preferred Room (here or elsewhere) and Business Class in terms of how many beers/night to break even. It was a low number, but varies by season.

The sangria is the same stuff they serve at the other bars at CSR. The beers are fairly standard, non-craft beer.

We stayed Business Class a couple of weeks ago over Christmas. There were 4 of us so I felt it was worth it. The breakfast selection was nice enough but did get old after a couple of days as it didn't really change much other than the pastries being a little different. We ended up using the evening hours more than expected - we grabbed beverages and snacks to tide us over until dinner or fill us up later in the evening if we had eaten an early dinner. But the reason I would pay for business class at CSR again is because of the location. It was very quite, close to everything, and had hammocks right outside our building. The housekeeper was awesome too and had been there a very long time. If I was going for my honeymoon and could afford the extra fee per day - I would definitely do it. Also, you then don't have to stress about your location. We also had a standard view which was a nice view of one of the front ponds (not the lake). I don't think any of the business class rooms looked out on the parking lot - but I could be wrong. So, the upside is you don't need to pay extra for a better view - standard is great for the business class rooms.

We stayed business class for our 3rd visit to CSR and loved it. The location is great and parking is close by. The beverages were great in summer and I think we got our money's worth. It's nice just to have the short walk for breakfast in the morning. If you can, I would treat yourself for your honeymoon :goodvibes

We got our next trip booked tonight
We want a confirmed king bed so we are finally going to give business class at CSR a chance
We arrive 2/27
Trying to figure out what to put for online check in
What we want most is early arrival so I'll mark that but will have to check something else for that option to appear
Is there a good choice to pick?
Maybe it doesn't make much difference since we will request early check in if possible?

Since you already have the BC room location I think the only other choice for online check-in is 1st or 2nd floor.

Yeah, I think so too. Though it still gives you all the choices.
Since I have to pick 1 for it to allow me to select early arrival priority I just selected Cabana. We'll be in that area anyway so that leaves them with putting us in any room that is King, Business Class and ready early (if any are). We won't care floor and since the building appears fairly small I don't believe it will be possible to be far from transportation or far from lobby.

Our last stay there we had a room on the far backside of 9B and it was still only 2-3 min walk from everything important.

For Business Class King, you can request a Corner Room, Upper Floor, Ground Floor, Near Elevator or Near Transportation.

I think Near Transportation is a waste of request for Business Class, but it is a valid request. I believe a couple of the corner rooms are Kings. They get extra windows, if you like that.
