What's the coffee like in the room? I have to have my coffee and don't really want to have to go out and get it in the mornings. Do they have the pods?
Most Disney rooms use the Cuisinart coffee makers. It brews one or two cups at a time, depending on your resort. Cuisinart uses coffee pods. Disney provides regular coffee, decaf and Twinings tea bags. We need our coffee, too.Have fun!
Can you see any fireworks from the resort?
Would the room refurbishments beginning in July have any negative effects on my stay Sept 25-Oct 2 except for a chance that I may get a refurbed room or not? I've never dealt with a refurb before during a stay.
I missed the post on the refurb - are they just doing a soft refurb or re-designing the rooms? They will close one building at a time and the work is inside the rooms, so it should effect anything other than that building being unavailable.

Yes, all resorts sell distilled by the gallon in the gift shops and we use that. We also bring Starbucks via packets since we are coffee snobs and don't like the pods.I don't drink coffee, but I've read on the boards MANY times that if you're going to make coffee, use bottled water. The Florida water tastes funny to most people.
I have to laugh - my family and I are like the official resort refurb chasers - staying at resorts just as they are about to refurb or as they're doing so, never right after to enjoy the 'newness' LOL! But at least this time we'll finally get queen beds regardless!According to Buzz's site, its a full room refurb
I hope this is one of those times a CM is actually correct. Hoping 9B is done by October!I was told by a CSR CM that the rehab is starting in the Cabanas.
