Did you happen to see if they sold small cartons of lactaid milk in any of the coolers in rix cafe, pepper market or the gift shop?

hmm, I haven't noticed but I'll check tomorrow morning. I've had no trouble finding little cartons of soy milk, if that helps. but I'll report back tomorrow morning.

Edit: I left the resort before PM opened this AM, but I did see lactaid milk in the rix cafe. I'm attaching a photo--they're little 250mL cartons, no price marked but all the other milks were 1.99 so maybe the same? hope that helps :)

Oh my gosh thank you so much for finding this! My daughter and I are lactose intolerant and we know this milk was there 2 years ago but I was worried it was no longer there! I had never seen it in other resorts we stayed at.

They will have more offerings in Panchitos at the back in the cooler area.

Do the rooms in the casitas, ranchos and cabanas all look the same? I was thinking they were each a little different but I'm having trouble finding photos to support that.

As far as I know the only different rooms are the Business Class rooms. They have ceramic tile floors in the sink/bath area and some other upgraded trim. As well as a BluRay/DVD player in each room.

Hello, Im going to CS in late Sept. First moderate resort and excited. I have a question. I saw somewhere the main pool in open till midnight. Can anyone conform that? Also whats the water slide like? Thank for your time

The main pool is open until 11pm. There are lifeguards on duty until then. They will kick everyone out at 11Pm.

The water slide is the 2nd longest slide on WDW property next to Beach Club. The CSR pool in general is considered the 2nd best pool at WDW by many. It's better than all the Deluxe resort with the exception of Beach/Yacht Club IMO.

Enjoy!!

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get a large pizza at PM? I think the menu just has the "personal" size 9" pizzas listed, so I'm guessing the answer is no, but... I was just hoping! That would be so much more practical.

Yes, it basically two 9 inchers. They are flat breads and rectangle.

Room service also delivers 4-11pm pizzas

Hi All,
We stayed at CSR for 2 nights at the beginning of our current trip (5/6-5/8) and overall, it was a good stay. It was not our first time at this resort and we were glad to return.

The good:
We did online checkin so the process of checking in was easy and quick. Cast members were all so nice and helpful all throughout the resort! We ate dinner once at PM and found the food great. We both ordered from the same station, so no delays with the food. No issues with PM at all and we enjoyed the selection.

We stayed BC and our room was immaculate. We only used the lounge in the evenings to grab a quick beer and a few cookies! The cookies were really good- big and soft. The CMs were really nice in the lounge.

The flowers and plants around the resort were gorgeous! We took some awesome pictures around the resort. The Dig Site had plenty of chairs and room for quite a large crowd that was there at the time.

The not-so-good:
This isn't CSR's fault, but we had an issue with our luggage coming from ME. Our flight landed at 7 pm and we checked in at 8 pm but we didn't get our luggage until 2 am! We've had over 20 some stays where we used ME, so we know this isn't typical. But it's still a letdown when a breakdown in the process happens. The bell services CMs told us that our luggage was not picked up at the airport until 11:30 pm which caused the main delay. I have no idea why it took them 4.5 hours at the airport to get the luggage on its way! Anyway, we did check most of what we needed for the night but we can't pack everything in the carry on due to TSA rules with liquids and gels. We were the last luggage delivery before they stopped for the night ( or should I say morning?). Again, I don't think it was the resort's fault but not a good start to a vacation.

We skipped breakfast in the lounge the next morning because we slept in after the luggage debacle. The food was good the second morning- cereal, yogurt with granola, fruit, muffins, juices, and great coffee.

The only other problem was the "wild life" at the resort. Now, I recognize this is Florida and a swampland but it was still concerning. At the Dig Site main pool one evening, there was a very aggressive raccoon that was trying to get food. He would not be shooed away and was not scared of people. He climbed right up onto a table with people sitting nearby, hissing and making sounds the whole time. We quickly moved out of the area and alerted a custodial CM who really didn't seem concerned. This animal was too aggressive and needs removed from the property, for safety reasons. We also saw a rat run across the walkway in front of us one evening, but he hurried away quickly and didn't bother anyone. I know rats and other pests are always around, but I feel the raccoon was a little extreme. I was scared for the young kids in the area.

All in all, we still love CSR and would stay there again in a heartbeat! Let me know if there's any specifics I can answer, although we're at the Yacht Club now.

Ty for the info

Here now at CSR and absolutely loving it! We were the first stop from DME and received the text our room was ready before we arrived in Orlando. We got the room section I requested , Cabanas and love it. Requested high floor but honestly we are extremely happy with our ground floor room. Just minutes from bus stop 4.

Magic bands have been amazing. Had to get used to using it for the door lining it up just right but everything else is flawless. Love FP + so far too! Our dining plan works great too. Upon arrival back to our room after late magic hours our luggage was here too. We also had a mickey towel head on our bed and a welcome message recorded letting us know they are here to help.

Our room is spotless, beds are so comfortable and love the ceiling fan, it really keeps the room cold!!
Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know how I'm doing and thanks for all the great information.

I love the updates. We will be there in just over 9 weeks and are staying in the BC rooms for the 1st time. My DD loved the pool here, and that's why we are returning to CSR.

Thinking of stopping at sam a club today and grabbing ten $150 gift card packs to pay my room and other things like food.

Is there anything I should be aware of that would make this idea good or bad?
I have never don't this before but It seems straight forward, call ahead and pay down the room so I don't have to bring the cards with me.
Followed by using my mb to make purchases. As long as I don't go over the $1000 limit and/or stop at the front desk the day before we leave, I'm good???

This is rather disturbing...we are booked at a Moderate for the first time after staying Deluxe (trying to save $$). Why would any Disney hotel let this go on, I understand it's all wildlife...but RATS...DISGUSTING!! It sounds like most times when you tell a CM they act like it's no big deal. I'm sorry for the money guests are paying I would think a better response is warranted. I may consider switching to a different resort based on several posts about RATS!!!

Hi all! We are travelling with another family and we both have done online check-in requesting "close to transportation" and "cabanas." Ideally we'd like to be placed in the same building. How can I get that added to both of our requests? I assume I should call WDW reservations? Or the resort direct???

There is no way to call the resort directly. Call the Main Reservation line with your friends confirmation number. Ask the CM to mark your 2 confirmation numbers as "traveling with". Then make a request to be in the same building. This can be done anytime up until 4-5 days prior to your arrival.

We've spent 60+ nights at CSR. Most recently this past Christmas for 16 nights. I've never seen a rat. There are lots of squirrels, but I've seen no rats. Having said that, WDW is built on swamp land so there will be all kinds of wildlife around. There is just as much chance of a rat crossing the path at GF as there is at CSR.

I only spent 7 nights there a few weeks ago, but I also never saw a rat. I saw a duck family, squirrels, and many tiny lizards, but never one rat (or any alligators, as we kept searching for one).
