I tried personally about a month ago.. CSR does not have them.

Yes, CSR has roll-a-way beds. But you can't book over the phone, only at check in. They are first come, first serve. I've never had a problem though.

So, I've been reading about rollaway beds / rollaway cots and recent posts indicate that Disney has been phasing them out. Instead, they are now offering air mattresses ona first-come first serve basis (which I already have). Any of you have had recent experiences requesting a roll-away bed / cot at check-in (within the last 6 months) at CSR? Would like to know if you were able to get a bed or only an inflatable mattress and if the charge was $15 or more per night.

Just switched our reservation last night from CBR to CSR, and I'm so happy! CSR is where we stayed almost 17 years ago for our last WDW trip and only on-site stay! Loved it to pieces!! I had booked CBR thinking it would be fun to try a different resort, but after much research and a ton of videos and pics, I switched to CSR last night. It feels so "right" to be heading back to the place that captured my heart so long ago. Especially excited since that last trip was in January and a bit too cool for swimming. Hopefully this upcoming Easter trip will allow some good pool time.
Can't wait to be there again!

If you loved CSR 17 years ago, you're REALLY going to love it now!!!! We had stayed there several times, pre-refurb of several years back. The upgrades brought CSR to a new level -- closer to Deluxe than Moderate! ENJOY!!!

I will be at CSR in 6 days. So excited. Never been to moderate resort before. Last two times stays at All Star Movies and Pop Century. Thanks for free dining I can upgrade to moderate on this trip. Will be second solo vacation. TA put in a request for one of the buildings. Hope I get it and cant wait.

Anyone there now or recently? How's the construction on the casitas pool ect going? We arrive mid October and we're just wondering!

We have been back home for a few days now. We stayed in Casitas 5. The pool and laundry area are still closed. There was water in the pool though. Everything has either a fence around it or is boarded up. It is hard to tell where they are with it. The walk to the main pool was not bad at all. This is where we spent all of our pool time. We did do laundry one day and used Rancho's laundry room. It is a pretty decent walk there.

Hi I will be at CSR next week and super excited. Question is how early do the restaurants open at the hotel? Thinking of hitting them before AK and HS because of the limited breakfast offerings at those parks and still hitting rope drop.

We booked a preferred room, what about you? I have stayed there in the past and booked only a standard. They put us in the boonies, Ranchos section.
