Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

I have a question. Not sure if this is where to post it. I have a 7am breakfast at Chef Mickey's next month. Dont think WDW transportation will be running early enough. Can I set up a cab at the front desk? How easy it it? What should the cost be around? Ty for your help

We call front desk and have them order a cab for the next morning - at CBR it showed up right outside our building! I would assume it's similar at CSR if there are places near the buildings to use as turn arounds.

Yes, the bridge that connects Aruba/Jamaica to OPR and main pool is closed. They are rebuilding the entire bridge and have heard different reopen dates, but most are saying mid December.

Does anyone know of any conventions that will be at CSR from September 2-13? We were originally booked for Coronado and then switched to CBR to try something different, but have now switched back at the last minute due to the bridge construction. I haven't had much time researching anything going on at the Coronado. Thanks!

Hi. We are planning early and want to stay at CSR for the first time in October 2016. Is there something going on then though? More than a year in advance and there's no availability for CSR with double beds (and almost nothing at WL and AKL too for comparison). We are looking at splitting Oct 17-22 at CSR and then til 29 at GF (there's plenty at GF for both weeks). I'm just shaking my head and wondering if we need to move dates

It might be that it's just too early to book. I tried to book 18 months out once and the same thing happened to me. Check the other resorts for the heck of it and see if they say no availablitly as well.

Has anyone seen the refurb of bus stp 3/Ranchos yet? Does it look major? Will be there from the 8th, was hoping for Ranchos but not if the Bus Stop is out of action.

According to Buzz's facebook page, it closed on 8/24 for a 3 week refurb due to a safety related issue.

Doing a split stay in October and I got lucky today...something finally opened up under the fall discount at CSR. Just booked our first two nights in a king bed, business class room!! So excited to be returning to our favorite moderate .
