Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Opinions/advice needed please. We are doing a split stay in April consisting of BWI and currently Contemporary theme park view atrium club access. I’ve been watching some you tube videos of the contemporary and I am not a fan of the room at all. This seems to be the consensus of those reviewing as well.
Will we love the actual club level lounge and food offerings along with the balcony to view the nightly fireworks enough to get past the room decor? We have never stayed at the contemporary, but thinking about moving to club level at wilderness lodge. We stayed there last year and really enjoyed that resort. Thanks for your advice.
These are not my favorite rooms, but they’re big with great bathrooms. Although the lounge itself can be a little small if things are busy, I like that they’ve got additional tables just outside of it. The food and CMs are wonderful, and the fact that you can walk to/from MK is a huge selling point for me. I’m staying there 2 nights starting tomorrow (Tower Club, though, I believe).

Saw Joe Rohde at AKL CL breakfast this morning! Don’t blame him.
They put on a nice breakfast here.
You've gotta be kidding me what time was this? I was at breakfast there all week and didn't hear or see a thing about him! Altho I was sitting next to Chad Michael Murray and his fam yesterday...not that I really am a fan but would much rather have seen Joe Rhode!

Just as a side note had room 6201...the very first room by the buffet and it was both the best and worst room at the same time. Absolutely loved that the food line was basically an extension of my room lol. Opened door, grabbed food and drink, walked right back into room and enjoyed. But...at night it was basically like having the lounge guests in my room. One night was woken up by loud dishes crashing at 3 am as the cleaning crew was NOT caring about being quiet. All in all still an absolute amazing time at Kilimanjaro and wish I could send a cast compliment for every employee from the managers Edwin and Javier all the way down.

@ The Daily Moo -- I saw him at 7:15 or so eating breakfast with a woman
about his age. They were taking about a book and illustrations. I only saw
him that one time -- not even sure if he was staying. I'm sure that he can
eat wherever he wants!

I had a great time at AKL CL! Food was great. Staff was great.
I could do without having to ask for a glass of champagne
and/or 2 tablespoons of soup, but I would go back there
right now if I could!

We had room 6201 back in October and we LOVED it!! It was 3 adult women and one bathroom...until my friend discovered that there is a "public" bathroom right around the corner. Just outside the door, there is a set of "saloon" doors and there is a single-stall bathroom hidden behind there which the desk staff pointed out to us on our arrival before our room was ready. My friend decided that whenever she needed to use the restroom, she would just "pop around the corner" and use the hidden one:rotfl2:. We almost always book a 1BR at Kidani so we are used to having 2 bathrooms. My friend thought this setup was genius:laughing:...she said, "It's like I have my own bathroom anyways! I just can't take a shower or brush my teeth in there😆"

We only had a 2-night stay last year and I cannot believe that I was able to score a 4-night stay this October. Those DVC studios are like unicorns! I never in my life thought I would be able to stay in a club-level room at a Disney resort for one night, let alone four nights in a row. This will truly be a dream come true and I cannot wait until October:goodvibes.
