Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Thank you!
I believe 43/4419 are HA of the 2Q deluxe rooms..and 43/4420 and 43/4422 are not...have been in 43/4420 a few times and 22 also..19 just once and it had a roll in shower...I'd suggest requesting those four particular rooms that are not HA...and hopefully they'll assign you one of your requests

Getting ready for this Friday morning to make my dinner reservations!! Anyone ever eat at The Plaza at WDW? We were thinking about this one. Also, at Epcot, La Hacienda?
I always like La Hacienda. The Plaza, for ice cream only. It helps to look at recent YouTube reviews.

I'm trying to convince DH to try club level, and one of the selling points was that if he wanted to stay up later than the rest of the family, he could just go hang out in the lounge. But now I'm wondering if the lounges stay open after 10pm or not.

Can anyone confirm if the lounges are 24/7, or if not, how late they stay open? Specifically, I'm interested in Boardwalk Inn and Yacht/Beach.

Thanks!

YC CL they close/lock the lounge at 10pm. There are some lounges that by nature of where they are or how they’re built are open 24 hours sort of. The lounges is open and you can grab a soda or bottle of water, but things like alcohol or most food is not available. The staff also leaves at 10pm. Two that I can think of that are accessible 24 hours is CR CL and Poly CL.

Both BC and BWI lock the club levels at 10pm. Coronado Springs also locks the door. Wilderness Lodge pulls all items (maybe not water), but I can’t remember if there’s a way for them to actually lock it down. AK also pulls food and alcohol. I haven’t been to the remodeled GF club level yet, so I can’t comment about that one. So, your basic answer is that clubs do not technically stay open 24/7. I’ve never been to a non-Disney hotel club level that does either. Are there hotels with 24/7 clubs? That would be interesting to know!

It depends on what he is looking for. All lounges close at 10 for refreshments and staff. There is usually soda, water and maybe juice in the refrigerator. He can hang out in the seating areas at the GF, Poly, CR tower Club, never stayed CR Atrium club so can't answer for that. The others lock the doors or have gates to close it off. The YC and BWI lock the doors promptly at 10PM and don't reopen them until 7 AM. They both have coffee set up outside the lounge at 6:30 AM.

I'm new to the whole club level thing, so I've been doing research, and I did find a source that said: "Stone Harbor Club Lounge itself is open 24 hours and staffed from 7:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m." But that seems to be from a review from more than 5 years ago, so I thought I'd better check here for more up-to-date info.

So thanks to everyone for the quick responses -- I really appreciate it! :)

We were planning to focus on EPCOT, so that's why I'm really only looking at BWI, BC, and YC. I think we might still be on board with CL 🤞 -- I was thinking about booking a "Deluxe View - Club Level" at BWI so hopefully there's enough room so that DH's staying up late doesn't disturb the sleeping family members.

Does the BWI CL have any water source? Filtered water dispenser, bottled water, etc? I'm picky about water taste, so we usually buy a case of bottled water on our way in, and I'm just wondering if we would still need to do that.

Yes, Innkeeper’s has a water dispenser in the lounge. You can see it on the right if you zoom into this picture (not mine). The Deluxe rooms are quite spacious, but there is no true separation besides the extra space. If your husband likes to stay up late on the balcony, scrolling his electronic device of choice, or reading a book with the table lamp, I doubt you would be disturbed. If he likes to watch tv at normal volume, there will def be some sound encroachment to those trying to sleep.

I really like the size and guaranteed boardwalk view of the Deluxe rooms, but I really dislike the potential location. The BWI Deluxe rooms are the only CL rooms that can be on a different floor than the lounge. There are 5 rooms on the 4th floor and 5 on the 3rd. We have had the Deluxe rooms on the 4th floor - ideal location and super convenient! We had one on the 3rd floor that was just down a little flight of stairs and that was good, too . We felt like we were private but still had easy access to the lounge (there are 2 of these rooms). But we also had a room on the 3rd floor that was awful. It was super inconvenient to get to the lounge and we felt like we used it so much less. That would be the only time it ever felt like we didn’t get the value from the lounge. There are 3 of these rooms.

A regular CL room is smaller and you most likely won’t get a boardwalk view, but at least you are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor. The Deluxe is definitely a better room, but for the extra cost, you might not get easy lounge access. I wrestle with this a lot, and I still don’t know what is best!

ETA - sorry, the garden cottages are also not on the 4th floor.

Here are pictures of our GF 1 BR suite, main building Room 4028. It was amazing! The pullout was a full sized. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine! Here is the entry room and living room area, as well as the half bath on that side.

And here is the bedroom and full bathroom (on the left side of the entry room shown above), as well as details within the wall mural and the gorgeous tile patterns in the bathroom. This room was just stunning. Worth every cent I paid and I’d be ok staying there with much less of a discount (don’t tell the mouse that!), tbh.

Apps Wed. The short ribs were EVERYTHING. I ate about 4 and wasn’t the least bit sorry about it.
