Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I think it's just a matter of each person's vacation style. Some people like to squeeze every possible minute, experience, and value out of the trip. Me personally, I can't relax or enjoy myself when I know I still have travel ahead of me. We head for the airport first thing in the morning so we can get home in daylight, shower in our own bathroom, unpack, and start the laundry, and still have a normal evening at home before bed. Different strokes for different folks, as they say :)
Meanwhile I’m always out on the last flight of the day. Even if we choose not to be at the pool, we are having a last hurrah at the parks. Like for our Sept trip, JetBlue changed our return flight to 2pm and we straight up switched airlines so we are still coming back at night. With the obscene prices of CL nowadays I’m getting every minute I can out of it. I have no issues having a good time on that last day either, travel is not stressful to me in the slightest—I actually enjoy air travel as an avgeek.

Kind of off topic, but I have always wondered how people pull off being at the pool on checkout day. You don't have a room to return to after being at the pool to shower or change. Suitcases are packed. Maybe I make life too complicated, but I think I am missing something LOL
Like another poster said there are places to shower/change. We've only done it a few times when the kids were younger, but we kept a backpack
with a change of clothes with us when we checked our bags. When disney had airport service, it would be one of our carry on bags ( had wet bags for bathing suits if needed).
Hey all, looking for opinions on YC vs. BC club level. I know there are better lounges, but we are staying at one of the two resorts with friends. Trying to pick which one to stay at. Thanks!
I would pick which hotel you like better, lounges are similar. I personally prefer YC because it is quieter and all rooms have balconies. Just a personal preference.

OK, heading up to the 4th floor...the best floor...because this is where all the food is! The next picture is the only picture I took with actual food in it! As I mentioned earlier, it was so darn crowded in the lounge every day, I just didn't feel like butting in with my camera like I usually do. I snapped this pic one morning as we were heading out for the day. As you get off the elevator (or come up the stairs from the 3rd floor), there is a little area where they set up the tea and bread service every morning:

Just over the half wall (behind the bread) is the main food service area. On the far counter is where they set up the coffee, water, and juices. The left counter usually had the children's selections, and the right counter had the hot food options:

Here is the same area set up with morning beverages:

If you were to turn your back on the above pictured area, you'd see another table that they use for the cold salad options, veggies, dips, crackers and cheeses. There are also two fridges with sodas behind the table. Here is a pic that shows the whole area. To the right you can see the cherry-colored bar area where the bartender stood every evening. Every morning, the waffles were prepared on the table shown in the very bottom right hand corner of the picture:

A close-up of the TV and newspaper area. I LOVE the Frozen-themed egg decoration...it's beautiful in person!:

The comfy seating area and behind that, the dining tables along the windows. I love that everyone gets a window seat!:

If you are facing the windows, to your left is the kids seating area and kids TV. Our TPV room was through that doorway and down two hallways:

And, the same kids area from the opposite side:

And, finally, the view from the 4th floor down to the lobby:

I never brought my camera up to the fifth floor but there was additional comfy seating up there too.

I will only torture you with one more post...my personal pros and cons list of the Royal Palm Club! Stay tuned :)
Great pictures? By any chance do you know what the food rotation is for evening appetizers. Some CL have signage posted for week offerings, thanks if you can help.

The post you quoted is from 2019. The lounge & rooms were remodeled last year. I know there are pictures in this thread, so you could search for those or try you tube.

I might be a bad influence on my daughter. She’s flying Boston to San Juan on JetBlue but they don’t have mint (1st class) on her flight .

She just sent me this picture .

🤣

We are meeting this weekend at Wl in a studio . Probably use the Geyser Point as our CL. We love it out there.

Orrrrr there's nobody there right now that follows this thread. Or if there is, they're enjoying their trip and not checking the DIS. If you wait a little bit, I'm sure someone will reply.
Maybe we will see, thanks for responding

I guess nobody wants to help a newbie, thanks anyway!
Hmm if you have an upcoming visit scheduled try DSS for this question. Call 407-939-7777 seven days a week from 9 to 5 Eastern Time. Or you could drop them an email: disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com ask them to check with the GF CL Concierge and get back to you.

Thanks so much, that's a great idea! I forgot about this service.
I also think very few of us are staying CL lately, especially at GF due to the price & lack of discounts.
Probably so, thanks for answering me.

Hi! I love to help newbies and old-bies. I just don’t get on Disboards every single day and sometimes not even every few days. Can you help me understand your question better so that I can try to help? Do you mean you would like someone to tell you what every food is every night? Or you just want to know how many days are in the rotation? Two weeks ago, it was a three day rotation. As for foods, I would be more than happy to tell you overall the foods that I recall from our trip, though I won’t recall which ones were which nights, and surely I will forget some.

GF is hard. I have stayed there a few times a year CL since Covid. Breakfast seems like every other day or 3 rd at the most. It is pretty plentiful.

Midday after the lounge remodel dropped significantly. My Nov 2023 they said new enhanced experience. I was disappointed compared to pre closure May 2023.

Evenings are plentiful but I never seemed to find a rotation. Some things I will recognize from past trips but then some nights there would be one or more new things.

I have stayed at all but YC and have to say GF is the one that does not post a schedule.

I tend to post on the specific resort thread and here if staying cl. Check out GF thread , there will be some other posts for you to check out.

They recently added a freezer with icecream novelties . Some (like me) have posted getting a new welcome drink. It was champagne with lemonade ? Pinkish? I can’t remember other than it was good.

Anything specific you are looking for ? Let us know.

* I’m one of the current pricing has kept me away people. AP discount of 10% is not enough.

We stayed GF CL in November, but I honestly don't really remember exactly what the food offerings were. I just looked through my phone and I guess I didn't take any pictures. I have a vague recollection of a shrimp thing one night and I remember chicken tenders for sure, but that's it. Sorry.
