Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

The wine is self serve from 5-7 (and can be requested at other times). The beer, bubbles, sangria & mimosas are by request all day.

In March, the wine was not self serve.

From reading these boards the past several months, when they wines came out at 5pm, I tracked down a CM to ask if he needed to pour it for me or if I could help myself!! (that was in early June)

I saw people taking entire bottles of both wine and the liqueurs later on to drink for their groups at the tables, so I figured it was definitely a free for all!

Oh, my! lol I'll never get over the lady (at BWI-CL) who, every night without fail tried to pour her Prosecco like it was a non-carbonated beverage! By the 3rd evening, I was so tempted to assist her, but resisted imposing myself!

Anyone have recent stats at the Yacht Club that medically had to be gluten free? I'm curious about any accomadations that were made. I have previous experience at The grand Floridian and the Board Walk both last year and the year before. Both were great but even those experiences were different. Thanks.

Thanks! Our first poly CL will be this summer and I cannot wait! We have loved the poly (not CL) on other trips but have grown to realize that CL is best for us and we got a good rate for August. Appreciate your review.

Given how many negative posts about this have been reported here, this is nice change from AKL management!

Let's hope they keep reading and start putting beers self-serve in the fridge

My mom has celiac and stayed with us at Yacht CL in december. They were very nice to her and helped navigate all her choices, and provided some bagged chips and other snacks since she couldnt eat the house-made chips. They definitely offered more than she accepted, as she is a fairly light eater. She was happy though! It was her first CL stay so we didnt know what to expect. She has done BC too since then, and gave them the slight edge in preference, though nothing to do with the way they handled her celiac. (My preference was the opposite, I preferred YC a tad I think).

It's hard to wait to hear the details and plans for F&W 2017, hopefully we'll know something in the next few weeks.

I understand BC lounge is serving Sangria. Yum! Does anyone know if they are also serving sangria at YC ?

Piling in late. I'm so happy to see this. I'm a dark beer drinker (stout, porter, black ale) and don't enjoy the usual CL beer. I think the CLs wine are generally not very good. I love it when there's a sparkling offering or fruiting it up.

Can we use the DSS for ADRs at the 180 day mark? This is a whole new world for me! I have a TA, and I had planned split up the ADRs with her to make at 7 am on Day 180, but I am wondering if DSS can get better access to the reservation computer. DSS hasn't written to me yet; when does that happen?

We've stayed CL any times and have not once received a message prior to our stay since they centralized the system, so if you need to get in touch with them, I'd just go ahead and write in.
