Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Five days until WL CL stay! I was just thinking abt calling DSS when an email popped me up in my inbox from the WL CL folks welcoming us and asking if I had any food allergies etc along with a direct number! Pretty impressed already! The CM I talked to also wanted to verify our arrival time so that someone could be downstairs to greet us. Maybe each resort is getting back some of its own "control" for CL folks rather than have DSS be the main contact.

Have a wonderful stay! We will be there late November - 1st WL & 1st CL stay - and I can hardly sleep with excitement already. Hoping we get the same call from DSS when our time comes. Looking forward to reading about your trip! :yay:

As for dss getting adrs. They weren't able to get any that I wanted. I eventually snagged one though. When we were at BC we were waiting for an elevator and a women asked for CRT breakfast. The cm said sure, tell me time, date and how many. Just like that she got crt and I couldn't get an Ohanas lol. So you never know.

Hi!!! Anyone can tell me if there are Mimosas or Sangria at WL CL, the OFC? Thanks?

Stayed WL CL a couple of weeks ago. No Sangria (however, if you're up to it you could Macgyver yourself some at the dessert service :stir: there is wine, along with Grand Marnier and if I remember correctly there are always wrapped apples in the fruit bowls maybe oranges too :drinking:). They do not put out mimosas, but the CL staff was always telling me that if I wanted a Mimosa to just ask - particularly in the morning. The club level staff at WL were great!!

It’s definitely worth the extra cost, IMO! It’s so nice to have an extra space to hang out outside of your room and be able to grab a snack and drinks whenever you feel like it!

I agree! The food offerings/drinks are nice, but having the lounge for another place to sit and relax is the main reason we stay CL :).

Hi all. We are staying CL at Poly in December. Will be there a few nights before a Disney cruise on the Dream. We will be taking DCL transportation back to poly for one more night after the cruise and do MVMCP. Will it help to alert signature services of our early arrival to resort after we leave ship? I have checked early arrival on our online checkin but didn't know if I should shoot DSS an email and have them note it as well. TIA!!

If you have early arrival noted with OCI, you probably don't need to alert DSS, but I don't see how it can hurt ;).

We will be there late November - 1st WL & 1st CL stay - and I can hardly sleep with excitement already.

You will love it! The resort itself is amazing, but CL just adds to it. Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

Hi All,

Looking at going to YC in the spring and wondering if anyone has a recent drink list thats available in the lounge (Alcoholic). Sorry if this was answered recently but I went back a few pages without seeing any reference on it.
Thanks!

I am looking for current pictures of YC Club lounge and recent food offerings if anyone has them....
TIA

Opinions YC at 515/night standard CL

BWI at 555/night standard CL

I tried to search for BWI food offerings but go way too many results to sift through. I seem recall consensus being the food offerings are much better at BWI? I stayed at YC CL this past March and loved it. Our upcoming stay is end of February so the pool isn't much of a factor for us this time

Is at as easy to walk to EPCOT from BWI as YC ? I have health issues so consider from a mobility issue, is it similar?
I haven't read through all the replies to see if you got answers already but one thing is that you need to take 2 elevators to get from the boardwalk side to the club level- one from the ground to the main lobby and another up from there. My husband and I did it when we're lazy but noted this would be a pain to be forced to with a stroller, etc, each time. The walk to Epcot is otherwise similar and actually I'd say closer than from the Yacht club.

My husband has to go to europe for work each January, last year my mom and I took my son to DW for 3 nights. (To save on me having to solo parent in the COLD. (The precious year I was stuck in the snow in the driveway) so I said forget that, especially before he starts real school.) Soooo long story to tell you I booked our January trip for just the 2 of us at AKL CL!!! We decided for a solo trip CL would be easier because I have access to breakfast and milk easily. I have food allergies so eating is always more work for me anyway. I still have to decide if I want to deal with a buffet with just he and I. The price with the discount that came out was great too. The only major concern is that we are already going to DW at the end of January for a family trip. (We have AP's this year which we started during last January's impromptu trip.) The escape solo parenting trip is the 10th ish for 3 nights and the family trip is the 27th for a week. So - everyone talk me into the solo parenting trip please. My son is 4- will be 4.5 then. He travels well and often. I envision an AK half day and a MK half day (we get over crowds so this is typical for us) and then a lot of time hanging at the resort/room looking at the animals. (We are spend a lot of time in the room people.) Long post. Talk me into it please!!

Sounds like you'll have a fun Janurary! When I just have the kids by myself, I sometimes think that it's easier. The main reason why is because I'm not worried about why my DH wants to do or where he wants to eat, etc. I go at my pace. I think CL will be great for you. There's a little kids area in the lounge for your little one and if you need a break, my kids LOVE simbas cubhouse. There's also tons of activities around the resort to do, like cookie and cake decorating, art projects, bead activities, animal watching. I wouldn't recommend the culinary tour of Boma and Jiko for just the two of you, it's very long and my kids were super bored. If you don't have kids or your DH is with you, the tour is great and very interesting.

He will love akl at that age. Do it because when older it won't be as fun.

I did AKL cl this past January and loved it.

Too many trips? Look at my signature I have oct, nov, dec and Jan booked lol. That's what ap's are for!

Yay! It will fly by and you’ll love SL! pixiedust:

31 days until I check in to SL CL for my honeymoon!!! I’m slightly more excited for this than the actual wedding lol

That was totally me 11 years ago. Way more excited to be finally staying onsite and CL then for the actual wedding. hehehehe

Long post. Talk me into it please!!

You can do it. My DD and I fly solo a lot with DH traveling for work. I would never hesitate to take a trip with just her and I. Especially WDW, it is so kid friendly and everyone is helpful. Just keep in mind that you can manage whatever luggage/stroller/bags you take by yourself, although DD has loved rolling a small suitcase since she was 3 and this year was super helpful in getting things through the airport (she's 6 now).

DH picked YC :). He's a bit leary of the cost but I know he will love it!

Hope you have a great time! :wizard:

37 Days.
SL CL

Have a great time and enjoy SL :yay:.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Hope you have a great Disney honeymoon :goodvibes.

29 days...
Beach Club CL water view.

First timers.

Previous CL stays have been AKL, YC and BWI. Loved them all but BWI was our favorite so far.

Have a great trip! :jumping1:

I know PPO breakfasts are coveted for obvious reasons. But are they worth it for CL guests, considering we already have breakfast in the lounge? TIA!!! :flower1:

As with most questions that ask whether something is "worth it," the answer is - it depends. What is (or are) the attraction(s) you want to get a jump on by having a PPO breakfast?

I will say that breakfast at Garden Grill when Joy and Sadness first started meeting at Epcot was totally worth it for us. The movie had just come out and my DD was crazy about it. We left GG in time to be the first in line; within minutes of the line opening, the wait was over an hour. For us, the cost of that breakfast was worth an hour (or more) saved (and the food was really good, too!). If it's something like BoG/7DMT, I would say I'd rather just skip BoG breakfast, arrive early for regular rope drop, and wait about half an hour for the ride (or FP it and skip the standby line). (Caveat: If you have Beauty and the Beast fans in your family, then you have to go to BoG at least once, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Dinner is my favorite - mostly because there's steak, you get to meet the Beast, and it seems a little quieter, but also because there's wine. ;))
