Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Sorry to hear your bubbly frustrations @gottalovepluto.

May be a bad time to mention I just got off the Wish and throughly enjoyed the abundant wine and full bar options in the concierge lounge. And they have a kitchen so you can order select food items at times during the day. I could get used to the CL life at sea. 🚢🍾
#GOALS

Someday I will make it to sea with Disney!

I saw some people get Mickey ice cream bars during the day so that might be a quiet offering but I didn't ask.
Several CL lounges offer Mikey Bars on demand during the day and even in the Evenings if they don't have them in the ice cream freezer (when it is out).

Michelle Brut is a pretty cheap sparkling to start with and isn't anything I'd ever buy at home but it's drinkable when you really want a sparkling and some vacay vibes. This switch is just management being cheap. I suspect long-term this bodes badly for the rest of the wine list.
The Old Faithful Club always has offered wines of the Pacific Northwest, just like Kilimanjaro Club at AKL highlights wines of Africa. I just did a quick check and it temporary out of stock at the source, Domaine Ste. Michelle in Washington and also at one of the largest supplier in the Orlando area. Might just be a temporary situation vs a long term cost saving measure.

Just wanted to double check if we arrive really early in the morning the day of check in can we go up to the lounge for breakfast even though the room isn’t ready yet?
Yes but you might need to stop by the Front desk to make sure your MB is updated or to grab a Resort key since the CL Lounge floor should be locked off in the Elevators. You also might be limited to 7 AM - 10 AM in the morning depending on the CL lounge if they close between services.

Are you still planning on the 2 BR Suite in the Tower Club at the CR and that pesky Crane?

Yes sticking with that room so fingers crossed it’s all ok with the crane lol.

Good luck, I hope it is a go. Also since you will be at the CR, you might see a CM standing near the entrance, or near the Front desk with a Tablet that assist you if there is a line at the Front desk.

Note: you are going to love that very large double balcony with views of the Seven Seas lagoon and MK.

With just 12 hours in, GFlo CL> YC CL. Minimal GF choices for afternoon snack (this is consistent across both resorts). No fresh made GF offerings for desserts here at YC. GFlo always had some mousse/flan type sweet treat. When I spoke to the CM at YC was offered some vegan brownies that they usually have but didn’t tonight, Mickey bar or fruit. Was led to believe these were my choices for each of the 7 nights I’m here.
Hoping for a good breakfast tomorrow!!
Luckily the parks were amazing today, I was granted my request of a room with 2 queens and a sofa so my kids could sleep separately and have a great view of fireworks. Nothing can dim my Disney joy, just reporting my observations.

I just saw a recent YouTube review of YC CL gluten-free. Search for it on YouTube, I think it was within the last month. Maybe you’ll get some ideas for options and availability of things to ask for. Have a great trip.

Thank you for sharing the link. Seems consistent with what the CM said last night. Breakfast had a little more that I could eat compared to desserts. At lunch they had GF crackers out, so that was nice.

I'm second guessing our upcoming CL stay. Last August & September we had a 10 day trip w/ 7 nights Poly CL. We were really able to enjoy the lounge & only missed a couple of offerings.

This trip is 4 nights now & will be park driven even if I add another day. Right now we are in a garden room at BWI. I'm having buyer's remorse. 🤣

No, if you are not around the resort to enjoy the benefits of the lounge and it's offerings. You should consider what has been named MYOCL (Make Your Own Club Level) in honor of @trishadono and other frequent participants here on the thread.

For a park focused visit just order your own favorite goodies for you room including refreshing beverages., and take advantage of dining options around Crescent Lake or at the parks.

I'm loving the MYOCL idea!
