CR Atrium Club Sunday breakfast. Again, the torture of that hash browns casserole.

I feel you!! We stayed for a weekend last October and I’m still pining for them. I tried to recreate over the holidays and it wasn’t even close. Has anyone else tried to recreate?

I love the savanna rooms for a staycation. Sitting on my balcony looking at the animals is great. I personally didn’t like club there though. Found the lounge really far from our room and thought it was a missed opportunity to have it overlook the savanna instead of the front of the hotel and lobby. I haven’t stayed at Coronado but I’ve heard good things about their club

I don't have complete data to compare, but from my experiences:
We love AKL, have never stayed there club level, but savannah view rooms are beautiful, and you really can only get the full experience when spending a lot of time at the resort. When we stayed there, we very seldom saw animals out and about in the early mornings and late evenings, when we were away at the parks all day. We love how much there is to do and see at AKL and think it's a great place to stay - not sure if you've stayed there before, but if you have kids, the string of memories activities are a huge hit.
CSR club level is our favorite for a resort stay, however. We have been so impressed with the staff there, and the food offerings are great. The view from the lounge is gorgeous, you can see Epcot fireworks as well as a nice view of Hollywood Studios. It's the only club we've stayed at, but we've been so impressed especially given that the price is significantly cheaper than the other CL properties. And while we haven't done other CLs, we have stayed at a handful of the deluxe properties, and we'd rank our CSR club experiences right up there with them. We're headed back end of the month and can't wait

CR Atrium Club breakfast Saturday. I don’t do breakfast, but it’s always tough to walk away from the hash browns and cheese grits! Not a lot of variety at breakfast, but honestly, I am down with that. Thinking you will understand soon.

Thank you the pictures! We will be back there end of July/August. I do see some new things!! The food has been really good, especially the breakfasts, we never miss that.

We have stayed at both Kilimanjaro Club and Chronos Club (and actually have stays at both coming up shortly!) and can say you can’t go wrong with either one. Kilimanjaro at AKL is my preference for food, but my DH would say he prefers the food at Chronos. It really comes down to personal preference, but food quality at both is excellent. The Cast Members at both are outstanding. Chronos Club has likely the best physical set up. It is very large, nice views, and has restrooms. Kilimanjaro is much smaller though we have never had trouble getting a table and the view of the lobby is lovely but it is just the lobby, not outside. We prefer the overall setting of AKL (we are DVC owners there) so there is that for us. It really comes down to the resort you prefer, whether for vibes or location, and then of course price difference.

I have done all of those so I’ll pipe in.

For room I really like the GDT deluxe suite. Having the sitting area for during the day dh could watch golf and I could be in the bedroom area napping. Also an extra 1/2 bath? Who doesn’t like to have extra space?

Food wise they are pretty similar.

Lounge space? CSR lounge is just much larger and bright vs the dark of AKL.

Dining and swimming and walking around. Again CSR is much larger and more options.

Walk from room to lounge again CSR wins. The deluxe suites are near the elevators on all floors/request upper floor if want a better view.

AKL has animals which are certainly fun to watch but CSR is better with almost everything else.

Oh CM’s in lounge, both have friendly ones but Francisco is at AKL and he’s one of the best out there.

That said I would go back to AKL cl someday but I always feel isolated there. I prefer more action. CSR has so many nooks and crannies to explore which appeals to me. It’s also centrally located so to hotel hop exploring it’s a better option.

I think so, in that space past the breads at the end of the counter area. I just don’t eat breakfast usually so snapped and ran!

You guys are talking me into Chronos Club for next year lol. We booked a 7 nt on the Treasure for my birthday trip next year and are debating which resort pre-cruise. 3 nts only. We thought maybe we'd check CR off our list finally after a few starts and stops but now idk!

I just love EEH so much it's really hard for me to give that up (we would have MK on our dates). I really wish Chronos Club guests got access to it. Maybe we can do what we did last time at Poly and have a night of it when we get off the ship.

Ohh not wanting to confuse you but we have also stayed Atrium Club at CR and that is maybe my 2nd favorite behind Kilimanjaro. (staying Atrium again this summer). If you were wanting to do EEH then this would be amazing. The lounge is definitely much smaller than Chronos but we did usually find a table without a problem much of the day, the single exception is during fireworks. They do have 2 balconies with a theme park view in the lounge but if you want to be out there you must get there early. The food was excellent and a bit less "exotic" than both Chronos and Kilimanjaro if you have a picky eater. The Cast Members were, as always, so friendly and accommodating. Club Level can become such an addiction haha!!!

I need to give credit to the person/persons who decided to also offer sushi on 12 instead of just on 14 like had been done for what seems like forever. Cynical me thought that wouldn’t last long, but it seems to have stuck. That’s been a nice upgrade/change.

Hello~ Old timer here, not too active on here anymore. But, we had a trip to GF planned for June. Had to reschedule for July and ended up booking BWI CL. I looked back about 10 pages and don't see any recent reports. Can anyone comment on the most recent offerings/experiences? It's been awhile since we have done CL, but we have stayed CL at WL, Poly, BC/YC in the past. It will be our 1st time at BWI. Thanks!

I'm glad you brought it up about Gran Destino not being eligible for EEH. I always forget that when considering Chronos Club because it feels deluxe ish.

Yeah, as much as I love GDT if I’m looking at a regular non-CL room in that price range more often then not I end up at Swolphin for this reason. If it’s a weekend trip where I’m leaving on a Sunday then I would.

Hi all. Debating a quick stay this summer. My youngest graduates HS this year and would like to go to Epic Universe at Universal, or whatever it's called for graduation. So of course we will stop at Disney. Will do an after hours event or two. After reading the last few pages, GDT chronos club is now in the running lol. The main drawback is no balcony in the rooms. Does the lounge have one? Anyone else planning on visiting the other park? I dread going because it's new. It's his graduation though so that wins out, I think. I'm trying to convince him to go during a college break. However, we have no idea where he will be. He's all over the place and can't make a decision. He even said he wants to dorm at the community college 3 miles from home

Unfortunately, there are no balconies, rooms or lounge. Theres a rooftop bar, though, if you’re interested, that has an outdoor area.

Thanks for the info. A rooftop bar is always nice though I think I would miss a balcony though. We like to sit out with morning coffee and adult beverages.
