Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I am new here but I just received this from DSS about the 1 bedroom suite at the Poly.

DSS Response:
"Thank you for contacting Disney Signature Services!
Although in the past that room did include access to the club level lounge that has changed since our re-opening and is no longer an amenity of that particular room type. I would recommend reaching out to our resort reservations team and they will be more than happy to assist with modifying your resort reservation to a club level room."

This seems absolutely crazy to me given the cost of this room. Has anyone heard this?

My family and I will be BWI CL from June 2-7! Myself, husband and 16 year old son. First trip back to Disney World in 4 years. Stayed BWI CL 3 times in the past

We have Galactic Starcruiser reservations june 7-9. Anxiously awaiting actual reviews the first week of March so we can decide whether to keep them or not.
Well keep an eye out for me and say hi, I’ll be all by myself so will probably be the lonely looking lady in the corner 😂. The last time I stayed BWI CL was 6 weeks before the closure, I’ve been itching to go back!

Argh. Just need to vent. And yes, I’m aware of how utterly whiny and spoiled I sound…Here’s the deal for my GF RPC (hooray!) visit at the end of Jan.

Wed: Standard View CL, main building - lots of CL choice available - deluxe hours this night, so I want to be walkable to MK - and my mom will be with me, really want to treat her to CL.
Thurs: Outer building TPV, non CL. Only CL is 2-bedroom suite in an outer building. I am checking this several times a day - would prefer a single res (or even two!) I have a Celebration at the Top res this night, but I’m still pretty nervous about eating indoors, and I’d be solo - can delay to do w/DH late this year.
Fri-Sun: Standard View CL, main building. Lots of CL choice available.

I emailed Signature Services a few days ago and asked them if - since my night in an outer building was technically both a CL check-in and check-out day - I’d be able to access the lounge during that time. No response. Sort of tempted to move to YC CL for the Thurs night, but is that nuts? It would be easier to access Epcot (and DHS), but what time do they typically deliver luggage? And all that packing… I keep hoping I’ll be able to shift to a single res, but this is 2.5 weeks away, so seeming less likely every day. What would you guys do?

Correct you will have full access to CL on check out day until the lounge closes and in the morning of check in when it opens,, so in theory you actually won't lose 1 minute of CL time. It's just is packing and moving multiple time be worth the savings? Maybe since it's RPC that we are talking about (I know you aren't purposely trying to save money but its probably a decent amt doing it that way). I would also definitely ask at check in if there's any way you could stay in the same room, maybe some pixie dust can be thrown your way?! Since you will have full CL access the whole trip, maybe skip celebration at the top until your husband can join you???

That’s currently accurate since Poly CL is not open yet, but no way that will be the case once it reopens. I think the CM is either misinformed or speaking as to exact current conditions.

I could perhaps see some modifications or eliminations to the mini lounge offerings in Tonga when CL reopens, but no way suite guests won’t have access to the lounge in Hawaii as has always been the case (in my opinion) or for those rooms to otherwise be CL.

FWIW, we recently had a stay in the 1BR. It is beautiful! It was already a good room, but the renovations have made it 1000% better.

Apologies for not being able to read thru the last dozen or so pages of this discussion, but I just wanted to ask...

Is the CL open at BWI and WL?

If so, what Covid related restrictions do they have? Is the food still buffet style or not? Or is it mostly back to as it was before... but with masks and lots of hand sanitizer? Thanks.

Edit: just watched some recent YouTube videos and they seemed fairly back to normal with the exception of those frames with plexiglass panels over the food. Or is there anything else?
Lunch service has changed at pretty much all CL. They have prepackaged snacks. Some are house made, like chips or hummus but mostly, much more limited than in the past. Other services seem unchanged in my opinion

As it turns out, after all my whining and phone calls, I actually managed to grab a TPV room for the last 3 days of my stay (“managed to” spend a buttload more $, I should say…) just this morningat 6 am, so I’m ok with things now.

Still undecided on Celebration, but at least the timing on it doesn’t interrupt much, CL-wise. DH won’t be with me until Nov, and that’s only if we attend a conference in Orlando - I’m more uneasy about dining inside, I think, but it just looks sooo amazing… All other ADRs are gettin’ cancelled, for sure.

Anyways, you guys are, as always, the best of the best. Thank you.

Thank you for your help :)
We were spoiled by our room at the yacht club, loved the renos.. beach club water view CL is available but a balcony is a must for us.. what do you all think are the chances we will get a full balcony if we request it?

Hi.. I was just hoping for some opinions. We haven’t stayed CL in a couple of years but I think after everything we deserve it :) but I want to make the right choice. We love Yacht club just stayed there this past spring.. but I’ve always wanted to stay at the Boardwalk Inn. Which cl would you all suggest? I need to book through JetBlue vacations Bec we have a credit and they have standard view club at Boardwalk inn or a water view at BC, no yacht. Which would you all recommend? I’d love a beautiful view! Never stayed water always garden.. ok that’s it :) thank you!
As said, BC isn’t open yet, but from what they had pre-covid, I’ll be surprised if the lounge offerings now are as good as BWI with the pics and reports posted here since reopening! Rooms are more appealing, IMO. They’re reopening on the 27th, so watch this space for updates after that.

Oh I do love some Bradley Rose lol, I take his classes, and Sam Yo, when I'm not doing PZ. PZ is my first love though, and I LOVE endurance, 90 min rides are my favorite. I did 200 miles during Pelofondo in the fall, 6 hours on Saturday for 100 miles, and 6 hours on Sunday for the rest and it was awesome! The next Pelofondo is the weekend right before I leave on my next trip at the end of the month and I'm only doing 50 miles (only, oh lord listen to me lol), 3 hours, I didn't want to kill myself before having to walk around the parks for a week. If you want to follow my LB name is GoGoSarahGo :)

You are my Peloton hero! Doing one day of 100 miles would be a lot, but to have 2 days back to back is insane. I don’t mind working hard when I ride, but I just don’t enjoy long endurance rides. You have a new follower. 🙂

Thank you everyone for the brunch help! I got a call from the Innkeepers desk this afternoon. That was a nice surprise! She confirmed that they have a bigger breakfast on Sunday.

I think I've read that 50% of their rooms have balconies. Though I'm not sure exactly where I saw that and it may be incorrect. I think pretty much everyone requests a balcony so not sure the odds are really great. If it's a must I don't think I'd book BC

No opinions here other than that I really enjoyed Water View at YC which doesn't help lol but I had no idea Disney resorts were on JetBlue Vacations. That's really great to know considering I never use that statement credit on the credit card (I come out ahead of the AF on the bag fees alone).
