Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Not to pry, but is there a reason you need to book via phone and not just do it online and later cancel all of your other reservations?
I wish! I'm there for 4 total nights, and the room only pops up if I look for 5 or 6+ days. The first night, my mom is there, so we really prefer the 2 queen bed room we have. But the next 3 nights are just me, and I would take any non-suite room.

OK, on the phone with someone who totally understands the situation - she was laughing at how ridiculous it is. Fingers crossed.

ETA - No dice. OK, I'll stop whining about this to you guys!

I wish there was a good option, but aside from moving your trip over to S&D I don't know if you're going to find anything. You obviously know the bikes are pricey, and moving them around isn't easy (and renting them out and moving them all over the place probably isn't a common practice). I've only heard of hotels that actually have them on their property moving them to guests rooms, so I'm not sure you'll find any place to rent one to get in your room...also with the size of Disney rooms I'm not sure I'd want one in there. Usually when I'm on property I take an outdoor walk/run class, strength, stretch, yoga, meditation, etc. to keep my streak going. I do follow someone on IG that stays at BLT that does the app workouts on the machines in the gym there. I know it's not the same, and you don't get the metrics, but might be a whole lot easier and more cost effective to just do that. I drive down and will be taking my yoga mat and light weights, plus taking the walking and running classes early morning (or if my dad takes a nap and starts snoring, midday lol).

Thank you! I’m kind of disappointed to miss so many days of rides, and know the first week back will not be pleasant, but it will be nice to get a break.

trishadono,
Do you care to check on whether they have a set day for what offerings. I know this is crazy but my hubby loved the biscuits and gravy. I’m trying not to book a breakfast on that morning. Any other info you can get would be great. We were regulars pre-Covid. March will be our first time back since May 2019. We can’t wait!
I’ll get a pic of beers. They had cookies and brownies for kids. Don’t be afraid to take what you like afternoon and save for later. Dh likes cookies so I grab early and then later when he doesn’t like anything? I have em in my purse !

i just looked at pix from August and they had little tiny bags you could fill with candy! Watch for that it was so cute and fun!

We will be at BWL CL next week. I believe the lounge hours are 7a-10p but can’t remember the individual service hours. Could someone remind me? TY!

I’m doing a powerzone challenge right now, am riding ahead in the challenge and won’t ride for a week, then have to come home and do one of the hardest weeks of the challenge so I feel your pain 😰. My husbands like “but you’ll do all that walking around the park” and I’m like “but it’s not the same!” 😭. Maybe one day Bob Paycheck will decide it’s worth the investment for some nice new equipment.

OMG. I am ready to scream. I searched for a 6-day stay during my (4-day stay) dates starting on either Wed (my arrival day) or Thursday, and guess what? All kinds of availability. I called Disney, and they put me on hold forever, then came back and said, those rooms were all booked just now. So I hung up. Then checked again. And guess what? Yep. Still there. All kinds of rooms are available if you look for 5 days. I'm now on hold again.

How can this be so difficult? I am trying to save them room cleaning and give them more money! How is it in their interest to have me booked this way?

I have half a mind to keep the cheaper room in the middle and eat everything I can get my hands on in the lounge on that night and the next morning just because.

No need to respond. I just needed to vent.

Updated to clarify this totally confusing situation ;).

vent away, that’s a very frustrating situation. I think you should totally take advantage of that lounge on your check out and check in days.

You know how it is , holidays sometimes has lots of temps while regulars are off but maybe I’ll get lucky 👍

I’m impressed! I did a Willpers 45 minute PZE today, and it’s hard to spend that much time in the saddle. I much prefer bopping along with Bradley Rose. Haha

Paying rack rate for CL is hard this trip. I give Disney a lot of grace, but it seems like they are now charging top tier resort pricing for lots of sub-standard premium amenities. The lack of a spa and/or premium fitness equipment is harder to overlook at the current prices. And the homemade potato chips and tri-color tortilla chips become a little less appealing by day 3.

Which brings me to my next question - did BW bring back the Sunday brunch? I couldn’t find it mentioned anywhere, but I thought someone posted breakfast reviews from a Sunday, and it didn’t look any different than the other days. I asked DSS, and they didn’t know. We booked Toppolino’s on their recommendation, and while I’d like to try it, I’d be much happier enjoying a relaxing CL breakfast.

Hi.. I was just hoping for some opinions. We haven’t stayed CL in a couple of years but I think after everything we deserve it :) but I want to make the right choice. We love Yacht club just stayed there this past spring.. but I’ve always wanted to stay at the Boardwalk Inn. Which cl would you all suggest? I need to book through JetBlue vacations Bec we have a credit and they have standard view club at Boardwalk inn or a water view at BC, no yacht. Which would you all recommend? I’d love a beautiful view! Never stayed water always garden.. ok that’s it :) thank you!

Oh I do love some Bradley Rose lol, I take his classes, and Sam Yo, when I'm not doing PZ. PZ is my first love though, and I LOVE endurance, 90 min rides are my favorite. I did 200 miles during Pelofondo in the fall, 6 hours on Saturday for 100 miles, and 6 hours on Sunday for the rest and it was awesome! The next Pelofondo is the weekend right before I leave on my next trip at the end of the month and I'm only doing 50 miles (only, oh lord listen to me lol), 3 hours, I didn't want to kill myself before having to walk around the parks for a week. If you want to follow my LB name is GoGoSarahGo :)

As far as the BWI CL brunch, I hope they've brought it back but I haven't gotten to stay CL there yet (I have it booked for June), but for some reason thought I saw something on here....could be wrong and just wishful thinking. I know Trish and someone else whose name is escaping me (mrsap?) stayed there around Christmas/New Years time and probably know about the brunch. I really hope it has, regardless though, I still enjoy a regular CL breakfast over treaking out to an ADR any day. My next CL stay is solo so I'm taking all my breakfasts in the lounge to make my life easier.

BWI CL Sunday brunch was there the first week of December. Waffles, Bloody Mary's, Mimosa's, etc.

If the room is important pick BC. The rooms are set up nice and very pretty. Bwi rooms are the oldest and overdo for an update.
BWI currently has the most seasoned cl cm’s and overall best service.
Lounge itself, BC is bigger but I prefer bwi style.
You can request a water view at bwi. It’s no longer bookable but it may be available.

BC water view is pretty far from the lake FYI. However at least you will have a balcony. The non cl rooms at bc are mostly Juliet balconies.

Bc isn’t open yet so we don’t know much about current offerings. I have doe bwi twice since reopening and breakfast and evening appetizers are very good. The chef has 3 hot items each night plus the wall of other stuff .

I am a little partial to BWI and its CL, it's my favorite, the rooms are very dated but I do love the view (even when it's not a water view it's still a great view imo). BC is beautiful though, I stayed there this past year (not CL, but just regular room) and enjoyed it, but had a water view room and it was just a view of the pool that ended up being VERY loud. Thankfully only in that room for a couple of nights and then moved to a BCV room that was quiet. I'm trying for a water view at BWI CL myself for my trip in June, it is my favorite view in that area of all the resorts.

I’m so happy, I got my solo trip at Inn Keepers Club!! June 1-7, and if anyone asks it was my husbands idea 🤪🤫 . I was like “I can’t decide where to stay, it’s driving me crazy…” and he said “You? Solo trip? Boardwalk for sure!” And I was like “yeah, but if I stay there I’m going to want to stay club level” and he’s like “just do it!”
I have it in writing, it was over texts, no take backs lol
My family and I will be BWI CL from June 2-7! Myself, husband and 16 year old son. First trip back to Disney World in 4 years. Stayed BWI CL 3 times in the past

Wait, so you're leaving me as the only thread Starcruiser sucker here? :goodvibes
We have Galactic Starcruiser reservations june 7-9. Anxiously awaiting actual reviews the first week of March so we can decide whether to keep them or not.
