Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

That’s interesting. Thanks for reporting (although sorry it sounds like you may encounter some disruptions).

Take this with a grain of salt, but I had been told there were some fit/fixture elements (such as countertops for example) in both the Atrium and Tower lounges that were delayed and they had installed some things on a temporary basis just to open. I wonder if they are now coming back to finish that work or make other modifications. Or some other maintenance related closure.
NO OBLIGATORY CODDLED EGGS!! But still, maybe no evening apps? Or adult beverages?

I am glad that I am aware of a possible change in the plans, a bit disappointed of course, but I will just be happy to be there!

For what it's worth I called Signature Services to see if any of the tours at Animal Kingdom Lodge might return by our trip in two weeks. They have not, are still paused without a return date known. These are the Sense Of Africa and Starlight Safari.

The other tours at Animal Kingdom Park like Wild Africa Trek, Caring for Giants, Savor the Savanna are available starting February 6 and can be booked online starting 60 days out.

We have done a few of these in the past and really enjoyed them so looking forward to doing them again.

Hi All,
With the discounts that came out for AP this week I upgraded my spring break trip with my best friend, her daughter, and my daughter to a CL Savannah View double queen room at AKL. It ended up being about 1k more than our original booking of a standard view room. It's a surprise since I'm the only one who actually knows I did the upgrade (my friend thinks I just saved 25% off the room rate for standard view)! Any pro-tips, best treats etc to maximize this CL stay? Does anyone know what beer offerings there are in the lounge? Do they do mimosas in the morning?
I've done Grand Californian and RPC concierge before.
Is Signature Services back? No one contacted me at all for our GC stay at the end of the summer, so I'm unsure how things go right now.
Thanks in advance! I'm so excited to surprise my family here.

Oh, I have tried it every which way. One res of 4 days, two res of 2 days each, adding a day to the weekend to make it 3 days. I even tried adding Tuesday and making it 5 days. That Thursday is not available no matter what I do. But I think calling isn’t a bad idea, though I think if anything is changed, it’s likely to be when I show up and beg;).
I’m not against begging myself lol, little *wink wink*

So at least I’ll get to use the lounge, even if I have to move for the night. And it’s less $, as well… Thanks!
Also, a quick thought... Pack your outfits for each day in those large ziplocks. Include socks and underwear. (Of course there's no telling about the weather, lol!) That way as you change rooms it won't be such a hassle. You can put your dirty laundry right back in the bag it came from, and place it back in your suitcase.. So you're only unpacking a small amount. Place any outerwear at the top so you aren't digging through everything if it's chilly. This worked really well for us, changing resorts. (I promise though, I would never do it again, it was a huge pita!)

One other question, when we did CL at GC they serviced our room daily and did turndown service. Is this happening for CL at Disney World too? I love a freshly made bed and our last trip at the Riviera hated that my husband ruined the sheets within 5 minutes of falling asleep and the bed was never made once in 8 nights. :)

Question for all of you. We are considering booking Club at WL for August. Are you allowed to bring guests to the lounge? I do not mind paying. I have family in Orlando and one or two will probably meet us at the hotel. We normally get a 1BR (cash, not DVC) but may try something different this time! Thanks!

I’ve had two CL stays since reopening at RPC and full housekeeping every day. Stayed non CL at CR over New Years and nothing except trash and towels on the third day.

Argh. Just need to vent. And yes, I’m aware of how utterly whiny and spoiled I sound…Here’s the deal for my GF RPC (hooray!) visit at the end of Jan.

Wed: Standard View CL, main building - lots of CL choice available - deluxe hours this night, so I want to be walkable to MK - and my mom will be with me, really want to treat her to CL.
Thurs: Outer building TPV, non CL. Only CL is 2-bedroom suite in an outer building. I am checking this several times a day - would prefer a single res (or even two!) I have a Celebration at the Top res this night, but I’m still pretty nervous about eating indoors, and I’d be solo - can delay to do w/DH late this year.
Fri-Sun: Standard View CL, main building. Lots of CL choice available.

I emailed Signature Services a few days ago and asked them if - since my night in an outer building was technically both a CL check-in and check-out day - I’d be able to access the lounge during that time. No response. Sort of tempted to move to YC CL for the Thurs night, but is that nuts? It would be easier to access Epcot (and DHS), but what time do they typically deliver luggage? And all that packing… I keep hoping I’ll be able to shift to a single res, but this is 2.5 weeks away, so seeming less likely every day. What would you guys do?
Just popped in to say the Celebration on the Top was amazing! We are going again next week and can’t wait!

I have used cl lounges late . I even moved from gf cl to Cr 9/30/21 and still was able to access gf for desserts to visit a friend. 👍

Anybody accessing the lounge needs to be on your reservation. Since you don’t mind paying the extra person fee that’s not an issue but I think your problem will be room occupancy. Std CL 2 Qn room maxes at 4.

Personally I think Geyser Point would be much better for meeting folks than the CL. Better view, better food, better booze.

We are staying in The Atrium Club January 19-25, can't wait! But I received an email today from Disney Destinations, "We are still putting some finishing touches on The Atrium Club Level Lounge, which will be unavailable during your stay. To ensure you stay is still special, we will be providing you with daily breakfast offerings inside California Grill, a credit to your account upon check-in and a variety of complimentary snacks nearby". I called Signature Services for just a little more information and she did not know what I was talking about, said the club should be open and available during my stay. Anyone else receive a similar email? I'm good either way (breakfast offerings in California Grill would be cool). Thanks.
I think the substitution seems nice. I wasn’t a fan of the new lounge seating, it was sterile.
Let’s us know how it goes. 😄

Compared to RPC and GC it’s possible AKL is going to feel to you kinda like a scaled down CL in terms of offerings diversity so make sure to read the post-Covid reviews here on our thread on its current offerings so you know what to expect.

I know you were in the summer at GC CL so stuff could have changed- but chatter on that CL is limited even on the DLR side of the boards. My understanding is their offerings are pretty much back to pre-Covid currently. Do you happen to recall if they did afternoon tea with things like their fresh scones? I loved those things 😂

Oh- housekeeping at WDW is a mess right now. Nice to hear RPC is back though. Imho if you want something that isn’t the official trash & towels every other day ask the CL concierge during your stay and maybe they’ll accommodate. When I stayed RIV in Nov I asked for a sheet change about halfway through my stay with the front desk. They gave me no issues whatsoever and it was done when we came back from the parks. When I tried to get trash and towels on an off day over the phone I was asked to verify my check in date and then chastised that I’d already had my service but they could send towels- I hung up and asked the front desk on my way out. Trash and towels were serviced on return. WDW phones are answered by centralized guest services call center, avoid them lol.

I have a phone number for the Old Faithful Club from a stay in 2019. Is that still usable? We have a trip coming up in a few weeks and I need to talk to them about my baby daughters allergies. If not, whats the recommended number to call?

We didn't really go back during tea time while we were at Disneyland to the lounge, but my husband says he remembers afternoon tea being offered and treats like scones. They did have great apps for the service after tea and we were able to make a dinner out of it one night when we ate at Blue Bayou for lunch. Nothing felt scaled back to me during the experience. For reference we did last weekend of August for that trip.

In terms of excitement for the lounge offerings I feel that the fact my friend has never stayed CL or Deluxe at DW and tne improved room view will be worth it. She has a 5 year old daughter she thinks might need to go back during the afternoon so it'll be nice for her to have a place to be and snacks and drinks that she wouldn't need to purchase while she waits for a 5 year old to rest
