Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I'm almost positive this has been asked before--in fact I think I'VE actually asked this before. Apologies in advance! :) We have our first CL stay next month. If we purchase items in the parks (let's be real, this will undoubtedly happen) will our purchases later be delivered and dropped off directly in our room? Or will we have to go pick up our purchases ourselves in our resort's gift shop? Any insight or recent experiences you can share is appreciated!

Yes, directly to your room.

We are on 3rd floor garden side. Our view is not bad at all. Yes, there is some construction but honestly - not an issue at all. And I am definitely one that was worried about that. I would much rather be on third than first with a direct view of the fake palm tree tarp. We have lots of foliage covering up the construction. The below picture is actually the most unobstructed pic I could find. The view from the other side of the window and deck looking towards the pool is much more covered with foliage. Also to be honest, we have spent a ton of time in the lounge just relaxing with a beer as it's nice to have that option to relax outside of your room. View attachment 131179

Finally, they do have hard boiled eggs out in the morning. Eta: haven't seen bottles of chocolate milk though. We have been really pleased with all the offerings this far.
Years ago I asked at atrium cl if they had chocolate milk and they had it stocked in the back. Simply and sweetly ask for it, ya never know.

I see others have already answered but wanted to add this. Often the people packing up your items will insist you have to pick up your packages yourself. They do not always know they get delivered to the room for club level.

They hand you a sheet to fill out your name and room number etc.

Years back a poster recommended you write on your receipt (in any open space )in big letters your name and room number. I also added my building/cl for example "Hawaii" "sugarloaf" "atrium club".

It is fun to find your things in your room so shop early in the trip:)

Thank you all!!! Club level is looking better by the hour.

You will love it! :goodvibes

After a whirlwind 8 days, 7 nights at the Boardwalk CL Standard, we've come to the conclusion that while the amenities are great, we just didn't take advantage of all there was to offer. I'm sure others will disagree, but just wanted to offer up our experience.

Our room was 4270, and outside the Club entrance. We had a very nice view of the gardens below, and could see Illuminations over the treetops. I liked the space of the room, and the couch/pullout bed, even though there were only two of us, it was nice to sit on the couch to read the paper or put your shoes and socks on rather than the taller beds. Beds were wonderfully comfy - and I wish I could have smuggled home those luxuriously soft pillows!!

We did hit the lounge for a quick breakfast before going to the parks, which consisted of oatmeal, meats and cheeses, lox and bagels, pastries, hard boiled eggs, some fruit. There was coffee, juices, yogurt cups and dry cereal also available. We were able to get back some days to take advantage of the appetizers and wine. Unfortunately, we found the selections pretty much the same every time we peeked in for the late afternoon dinnertime, (usually potato soup, meats and cheeses, a veggie dish of some kind, and breads, maybe a rice or pasta), with 2 white wines and 2 red wines. The desserts offered later also a little ordinary. Not a fan of the PB&J jellyroll, and that seemed to be a constant selection, and otherwise, most of the choices seemed "out of the box" types of cookies and sweets. Cordials were tasty, but limited in selection, (I think 4-5 different types).

Turndown service consisted of someone coming in to the room, and putting the pillows in a different arrangement, slightly adjusting the covers back, and leaving a couple of salt water taffies on the bed. If we were back in our rooms at that time, we preferred to not have the service, and just left the "Privacy" hanger on the door. General Housekeeping did well, but then we always straightened up our room before we left for the day. One day, there was no new coffee left, and the glasses and cups were not cleaned.

The CL check-in upstairs was great, and all the cast members we encountered were very friendly, and ready and willing to help in any way they could, but for us, and the way we "do Disney", I really am not sure the extra cost was worth it for us. I'm glad we did CL this trip, but I doubt we will do it again.

Next trip is in December in a Standard BWI room, so it will be interesting to make the comparison then.

Thanks for your review. Hope you have a great time when you go back in December :santa:.

At the poly now enjoying GV CL. It has been wonderful so far. So glad we splurged for club level. We are getting spoiled here!

Glad you're having a nice time and enjoying Poly CL :wizard:.

We are staying GV Club level in Dec.

Hope you have a great trip! :)

Glad you are enjoying the lounge. We don't stay CL every trip, but when we do, it's more for the lounge than anything else as it's great having another place to relax other than in the room or around the resort ;).

We were in 4263 just down the hall, but still outside the club entrance. I do agree with the items - being the same exact items day to day was a bit...boring. I was happy with the breakfast selection though - I made bagel or croissant sandwiches each morning.

I hope you had a great trip :goodvibes.

We will be there in 25 days but with a lagoon view.

Have a great trip :wizard:.

Can't wait. We prefer 3rd too. Thank you!!! BTW our children are exact same age as your except 2 boys. I know they will love extra spot to hang out other than room.

:thumbsup2

As others have said, for CL guests, packages are delivered to your room :).

Good morning! Could someone please remind me of AKLchildren offerings? Are there still gummy bears?

Previously, I've read on here that the CL lounge closes at certain times of the day. Is that still true?
Wl food area was closed at 10pm but you can still sit in any of the seating areas. Cr atrium, Poly Hawaii, GF SL and RPC they are left unattended at 10pm. What ever beverages were left in the cooler they leave overnight. There was always a few cans of soda etc left if i ever looked at 11-12a.

I do sit for a few minutes and enjoy the quiet lounge at night. Especially poly and cr with those views!!!:worship:

Just checked in for my first CL stay at Wilderness Lodge! Everything went smoothly, and my room was actually just ready when I got up there. Ipads were ready and waiting for the ME to pull in and I was escorted upstairs for checkin. So far I'm really liking this, and all of the CL CM's I've encountered have been super welcoming and friendly! :)

I've been told that construction has been pushed back a week, but that doesn't mean the beach and quiet pool are actually still open...going to check that out later.

I will try to remember to get some new lounge pics posted during my stay!

Anyone have a current food offering list for the GF RPC CL? I've read through pages of the GF thread but can't seem to find it. I sent an e-mail to the IPO but haven't heard back from them except the form letter saying they received me e-mail. Doing a split stay with the BWI CL and they were in touch with me the day I made my reservation but nothing from the GF IPO.

Thanks, Trish. I seemed to recall that it was also closed for an hour or so during the day, but no, huh?

WL did close for an bit inbetween offerings. However they were awesome about getting stuff from the back.

For example one day i walked down the hall then noticed the lounge was closed. A cm was cleaning the tables and noticed. He called out " is there something you needed? I can get it for you." SO i asked for my afternoon coffee.

Other times i wanted wine at that time without any problems too.

How exiting! WL CL is one of our favorites as the food offerings are great, the atmosphere is very nice, and the CL CMs are awesome :thumbsup2.

Hope you have a great time and enjoy the lodge :goodvibes.

You might want to ask over on the GF FAQ as there might be some posters on that thread that have been recently that could help :flower3:.

That's great service...and as a coffee drinker, I would certainly appreciate it! :thumbsup2

On another note...have you done any more planning for your DL trip?

I'm back!!! :) I've got a zillion loads of laundry to do but I'm here! ;) I'll be combing back through the last several pages to see if anyone needs to be added to our guest list. Sorry if I missed posts! :D

No:) Supposedly, they added the "bartender" service to make sure no one drinks too much, but I have not seen anyone get "cut off" while we were there...but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...they don't want one person to ruin another person's vacation (and that's fair)!

I had forgotten all about a guy I saw in the CL lounge until I read this! This guy was totally out of it. He was walking down the hallway by bouncing off the walls, couldn't walk in a straight line....so he just walked until he hit a wall then bounced off it and kept walking until he hit the other side. He did this all the way down. Somehow he managed to get 2 beers from the CM then bounced his way back down the hall. I was just flabbergasted and no one even blinked an eye! Now given this is very atypical behavior but evidently they dont cut you off.

Thank you for your review! I'm checking into CL on Nov 7-11 for my 25 anniversary with DH. I was wondering did you find your room far from the lobby/ or where you go to get busses?? I am trying to decide if i should request a room close to the elevator, or if i'd prefer being closer to the lounge!? I don't want too long of a walk to our room after walking all day in the parks!
