Just got back this weekend from our third stay at CBR, stayed 8 nights this visit. We were in Jamaica 45 this trip, our first time on that side of the resort. We had a car, so getting back and forth to OPR wasn't an issue for us. I did take the van a few times when it was just me, and they were consistently every 5 minutes or so. We never used the boat because we weren't at the resort during the day.

The splash pad area was closed, but the resort gave us 3 days of water park admissions since we had three resort days planned. We did use one day to go to Typhoon Lagoon but ended up at the parks the other two days. No splash pad was less of an issue than I thought it would be. With the zero entry area there was plenty of space for my 2.5 year old to play in water that was a comfortable depth. She was also able to do the smaller slide several times. Lots of life jackets available too. We also used the quiet pool at Jamaica, very nice. Splash pad to reopen 9/26.

We have stayed in Jamaica and Martinique and a pirate room in Trinidad South. Like Jamaica the best so far. The bridge will be much more accessible when finished, and they were also doing quite a bit of sidewalk work at Jamaica 45 while we were there. It appears they are widening the sidewalks and public access area. I wonder - and this is just my opinion - if they are making that village completely ADA accessible which would be a great thing for people that have those needs. No problems with construction noise or anyone getting in our way.

Mousekeeping was fine, no issues. One day we accidently left the privacy sign on our door and they left a big bag of towels, toilet paper, extra soaps and shampoos and extra stuff for the coffee maker. I appreciated that.

We will be back again, looking at October 2016 if we don't buy into DVC first. :)

Thank you for the great review!
Did your room have the Murphy bed in it?

That's what I thought too. Leaving tomorrow with 3 kids 5 and under. No playgrounds and no splash area is a HUGE issue.

Can anyone confirm?
I haven't seen the play grounds, granted we have not walked around the whole resort. We are in Martinique 21 and do walk to the main pool and OPR. All I've seen on the two beach areas we pass are hammocks ando lounge chairs. The kids meal comes in a sand bucket with a shovel to play with. I thought about walking more past the main pool but by the time we get there we are tired and my son ready to get in the pool!

I ordered my Amazon Pantry order yesterday and got the message than my box will be there on thursday......we don't arrive until next tuesday. I wanted to time it closer because I hate the idea of them having to store it for our arrival but the website said it would take 1 to 4 business days and I didn't want to chance it.

So, I wanted to verify. You can bring in water bottles to the parks, right? Do they need to be unopened?

Just saw this. You can bring pretty much whatever food you want just no glass and no alcohol. We often bring drinks and small snacks.

So we got home late this past Friday from the CBR. On Friday we loaded up our bags to have them held while we were in the parks, there were nine of us in total. (7 adults and 2 toddlers) We had all the bags in one room for bell services to come collect for us. Well I wasn't thinking clearly and put my nieces stuffed animal and favorite blanket at the top of my open vera bradley bag. We got back to the resort to get the Magical Express and the stuffed animal was still there but the blanket was gone. We figure it either got left behind in the room or dropped somewhere along the way to bell services. They took down my sister's information as we were getting on the bus and she's called the front desk who say they haven't seen it yet. My question for all you DIS experts... is there someone else we should be calling? It just seems weird something so obvious has not been found. I know it's possible it won't be found but we'd like to cover all our bases before we order her a new one and have mickey send it to her. (Especially because my brother thought it was a great idea to buy a $90 blanket... but that's another story! lol)

We left behind my DDs Belle doll on our last stay at POR. We are bad parents and didn't even notice for 2 days. Thank goodness she was playing with all her new stuff. We received Belle in the mail a few days later. We never did call though and never received a call from them either. We just assumed it was a lost item. Not the first and not the last time for us I'm sure. Good luck!

The lost and found items throughout the entire complex with eventually make it to Central Lost & Found at the base of the monorail at TTC. The number for that is 407- 824-4245 I lost my glasses the 1st time we went through bag check at EPCOT ... we checked regularly over the course of the 2 weeks. I called about 2 weeks after we got home and they had only just shown up. Sent them to me no prob. They will keep items like a blanket for up to 30 days from the time it gets to them. I would suggest calling and giving a very detailed description, if it shows up they'll ship it to you.

We are in CBR right now and 2 days ago my DD'S hair wrap towel was taken away with the room towels. It has been reported to Housekeeping and Lost and Found. If they locate it, will I have to collect from TTC or will they return it to my room? Pretty sure they won't ship it to me as we are from the UK. Should I call again in a few days?

We were there the same time. Got upgraded to Martinique...asked for Barbados or Aruba. Had no problems with buses. Splash Pad opens this weekend.

Keep asking while you're there ... they will keep it at the resort for a bit (not sure exactly how long but probably a couple of weeks) Make sure you fill out one of the (i think green??) cards you can get from concierge at either the Customers House or OPR. And i would call repeatedly while you're there, doesn't hurt.

And i live in Canada and they didn't bat an eye at shipping my glasses. Don't fret about it needing to go "across the pond"

Maybe been discussed before but I'm on my mobile... Has anybody who went straight to their room (skipping "check in") ever received an upgrade? I am secretly hoping for an upgrade to king as we booked a two queen room and it's just me and my husband.
I can't help but feel like there's less chance of pixie dust when your just a name on the computer screen.

Yay for good reviews. We are leaving in 57 days for our first stay at CBR. My kids have wanted to try this resort for so long. We have a car too, since we are driving down, so not horribly worried, but still hoping for a different section.

That's how they all happen. They are decided long before you arrive.

Ours did not, but I really liked the upgrades from our last visit. We had a pack n play in the room so I was glad there was plenty of room for that!

Hello. I understood all the rooms but pirates has murphy beds. Am I wrong? TIA
