I have asthma and have never had a problem in all our stays at CBR. I always joked with my wife that I think only non-smokers stay here.![]()
Great to hear, thanks!

I'm the 4th-12th of September now!
Where is the best place to request now that the refurb is done(will be done by my visit).
That's kind of tough to answer for somebody else, it's like trying to pick out what flavor of Ice Cream for someone else. But I will say that Jamaica 45 is our favorite location. It is a 4 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the main pool. And it's a beautiful walk at that, especially in the AM when the sun is coming up over the lake. That location is followed up by Aruba 51 for the same reason. We prefer Jamaica over Aruba because we love the bright yellow exterior of the Jamaica buildings.
Having said that, we have stayed in Barbados and Martinique too and have enjoyed them all. IMHO there is no bad location at CBR.
Awesome! We stayed in Jamaica and LOVED it. I don't remember the building now. I was in room 4226. I liked seeing the Frozen fireworks from there. The walk wasn't so bad until the very end of the week. But everything was tiring then. lol
I just wanted to double check that that was the still the "best" location now that the refurb is done. On the online check in is there a place to request the building?
Are there any standout desserts for CS at CB? I'm just trying to decide on arrival day food. We will get to resort about noon. We have dinner reservations at 6:30 for Mama Melrose. I know CS options aren't great at DHS (or whatever it will be called by then).
Also, how would you get to DHS in the middle of the day?

Anyone know how to bypass the air sensor in the room?
It gets so hot at night.
Ok. I know we were able to push some buttons at CSR before to override it. I will just have to buy a balloon I guess.
Sorry to ask if it's already been answered, but does anyone have the direct phone number for the resort?
Thanks in advance

Hello Mickeystoontown, just wanted to ----- in to say ---

Can you get meals (such as the chicken dinner) to go from the food court? We're driving, so I'm hauling down with us several cases of pop, water, juice. Seems like a waste to pay for beverages x5 at the food court when we'll have more than enough to drink in our room. I'm hoping we can get a few meals to go and just eat in our room.
Hi. Ill be there next Saturday for my ds's HS baseball team is playing at WWoS.
I was told on thtis thread there is not a gym. The boys as well as I will very much miss not having a gym. I giess we will just run when we can. What has anyone else done that misses the gym.
Hope the weather will be brighter than it is looking now.
Thanks for all this information in this thread! I love it.
When I book our room, would it be worth requesting that it not be near a smoking area? Have any of you ever had a room near one of the smoking areas and smelled the smoke in your room?
We'll be at CBR next month (SO EXCITED). I've read that the Epcot fireworks can be heard from the resort. Can you actually see them as well? If so, what's the best viewing spot?

We have never stayed at a hotel that has an internal bus. How does it work? Does this bus take you all around the resort then to the parks or does it drop you at the resorts check in area where you then get on another bus to the parks?
The Internal Shuttle continues to circle around the CBR property. Each village within CBR has its own bus stop. The Internal Shuttle stops at each of these bus stops...I do believe it stops at the Custom House too (If I remember correctly). CBR is a large resort, there are walking paths throughout the resort, the shuttle is there if you do not want to walk or cannot walk to help you get to where you need on property. There are different buses that will take you to the parks. These buses will circle around the resort once stopping at each village bus stop before heading out to its designated park.We have never stayed at a hotel that has an internal bus. How does it work?
