No @kylenne just meant that that Luna Park pool is now checking that you are a BW guest, and then issuing you a wristband. They recently tested checking guests at CBR. Now it is happening at several different resorts.

No splash pad but it does have a kiddie playground by the Luna Park pool that is fenced and has a shallow kiddie pool. The signage indicates it is for ages 5-12. It has tables with Patio umbrellas and loungers.

Staying there for the for the first time this September in a studio and can’t wait. Double surprise trip- my daughter (10) doesn’t know we are going and my wife thinks we are staying at Coronado (surprise upgrade for our anniversary).
We were there last week, and loved it! We usually stayed at BC/YC, and after walking over and seeing all the construction I was so glad we opted for BW this time. The only disappointing thing was their joke of a coffee shop. We ordered 3 pastries, and all tasted like they were 3 days old. When I asked if they could warm them for me, I was told they don't have a warming oven. Seriously. Buy a $50 microwave and let people warm their own.
Still don't forgive the deli for not keeping the butter butter breakfast sandwich. That was the best ever when it was the Bakery.
That corn dog stand has taken up a residence in my brain..especially the street corn dog. 2 months to go.
Speaking of butter at the BW, I miss the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake ice cream from Ample Hills.
You will love Flying Fish if you're a steak person! We went two nights in a row and had the char crusted strip steak both times. The waiter even gave my husband the name of the char seasoning they use, so we're ordering it to try it at home.
Do you still have the name of that seasoning and would you mind sharing? We love the NY strip steak there! Our waiter once told us they also put rice powder on the outside to get a perfect char.
Yes! It's on Amazon, and it's called Char Crust dry-rub seasoning. He told us it was the roasted garlic peppercorn flavor. There are a few flavors, so we're ordering a couple different ones just to be sure. He didn't mention the rice powder, so if you try that and figure it out let me know!
