Just fyi, we checked in yesterday and they are scanning magic bands and giving out wristbands a la SAB at the Luna Park pool! There was a discussion about this on another thread re: the GF but I wanted to confirm BWI is also doing it. I hope it’s a permanent change at all the resorts.

No @kylenne just meant that that Luna Park pool is now checking that you are a BW guest, and then issuing you a wristband. They recently tested checking guests at CBR. Now it is happening at several different resorts.

We will have to watch and see if this is a long term change or just to the current very busy pool season.

No splash pad but it does have a kiddie playground by the Luna Park pool that is fenced and has a shallow kiddie pool. The signage indicates it is for ages 5-12. It has tables with Patio umbrellas and loungers.

We checked out this morning and I really think BWI is my fave of the Disney owned Crescent Lake trio. The remodeled rooms are so pretty and made a great impression on our first timer friend. The theming is so fun. CMs there were fantastic and we enjoyed the easier walk to HS. Pretty sure we have a new go to for the beginning of our split stays!

Staying there for the for the first time this September in a studio and can’t wait. Double surprise trip- my daughter (10) doesn’t know we are going and my wife thinks we are staying at Coronado (surprise upgrade for our anniversary).
