My understanding is you can do anything but use the pools...

I don't think that has been told yet either, just people speculating. My guess is you will be able to pool hop.

We would also like to know how long it usually takes to get to each park from a value resort on the resort buses. This will be my families first time staying at Disney and we would like to have a rough estimate of how long the value resort buses take to go to each park including the water parks. If someone could help us out that would be great. Thanks

The longest ride is to MK, about 20 minutes or less.

We are planning a trip to WDW in June....staying at Pop. I was hoping to walk across the bridge and eat at the food court. Just curious...if we wanted to view a room, is it possible? Do they have a CM who could let you view a room, just in case we decide to stay there in the future.

Touring Plans just did a study on the transportation times from all the resorts. Your actual experience may vary for sure, but this gives you an idea based on data:

Thanks everyone for the information it is really helpful. I was wondering if anyone has found it hard to use the buses and still be able to use extra magic hours for the parks.Does Disney put the extra magic hours on the days the buses run to certain parks. If someone could help us out that would be great. Thanks

The buses run to all parks every day. The buses will run early and late for the days it needs it.

That is interesting- Be aware that times can vary greatly from average though- It took us over an hour to get from DTD back to the Boardwalk. Our bus went via Typhoon Lagoon! It was silly and just another reason why we drive usually!

Anyone know if Little Mermaid Standard Rooms are open for January 2013 booking yet?

Not online...I think others have done it by calling~ I'd like to know for sure too...want to book for a few days before the Marathon Weekend in Jan.
So excited!:yay:

Me too! I think a room at a shiny new resort is worth a little extra money. Only a really deep discount could pull me away. ;)

Good to know! Did they charge you a projected rate or the highest rate of 2012?

I booked for late April 2013 - $ 122 a night , with a couple of $149's in there . That is a lot for a value in my opinion, but as I said before, I don't care as long as my little girl gets to stay in the LM room while she is still young and loves Ariel. Maybe a code or something will come out by then.

yes...I think you can do the 1st few week of Jan online.

I've been trying, and it still won't let me~ the calendar for Jan 2013 is coming up but when I tried going any further than that, it won't let me. I still think at this time we need to call?

Awesome! It seems like all the rates are going up, so $122 doesn't seen too bad to me...the $149 is getting up there. But think how much fun it will be!

I paid $173 per weekend night:scared1::scared1: and
I paid $147 for a weekday night:scared1:

It is for during the President's week.

I don't own a car, but I live with my mom, so I wonder if I could use her membership... :rolleyes1

no. She can add you to her account for a cost, but I can't even use my husbands, we each have to have a card in our own name. Now if your mom goes with you, you can use it.
