Well Rats! My teens really enjoyed Disneyquest. We went twice on our last trip.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too, but I get it. The place was never crowded and just seemed less popular and less kept up than it used to be. I hope they save the POTC game though! I'll miss it!

Can't say I didn't see it coming. When they announced that there would be no DQ vouchers for 2016 packages, I knew time was running out. Lol

Wouldn't it be nice if they could just move some of the more popular games like POTC to innovations, heard they were putting a relax zone or something but with so much of innovations closed seems to make sense to me

While most of the bigger attractions were extremely dated, there were a lot of fun things there, and the classic arcade games we great, especially under the "pay once" platform.

I sincerely hope they move the POTC attraction somewhere else. It would be a huge waste of a great attraction if they didn't.

That said, if the new NBA Experience facility that is replacing it has an attraction where you can throw a soda at virtual Ron Artest, I'll be the first in line!

I will miss the POTC thing, but I'm kind of happy that I will have an excuse not to sit there amidst the noise while my kid runs amok.

This on the same day I hear they're closing the Animation Academy! What gives Disney?! Why do you feel the need to close two of the remaining attractions I really like?! I have zero interest in the NBA. I will never go to your NBA themed whatever the heck it is. This combined with the complete gutting of Pleasure Island gives me basically zero reason to ever visit your new Disney Springs area! Great Job guys!

I am the opposite... I never went to Disney Quest in all of our visits and even had a premium annual pass at one point with free access. But, I will make it a point to go to the NBA experience.

So what are they going to give me in replacement for my Premium AP? This is part of the "value" I receive for my Premium AP. They can't keep raising the prices and continue to take things away. Like Pete said on the Podcast...it isn't about whether I use it or not it is about perceived value.

My family still has DQ passes on our old tickets that now we will never use...

edited to say that, now that I look at what is replacing it, my family would love that! Do you think DQ passes will be accepted if you have tickets that had that?

Looks like my only reason to ever go back to DTD will be Raglan Road, and we generally tied that dinner to an evening at DQ, so we may never go back after it closes.

Have no interest in the NBA, and I have no idea why Disney thinks that something tied to the NBA will fare better than DQ. Football, maybe, but the NBA is a really strange choice.

We're spending our first afternoon there in August. DS wants to try the virtual roller coaster after seeing it featured on a TV program.

I don't get this at all. In my sports crazy house the NBA is the one sport that gets zero attention. My husband who watches any and all things sports never turns a NBA game on. Heck, he will even watch tennis, golf and sports I have never heard of.

Oh well, one less thing to tempt us to spend money.

I never thought DQ was a good value for what the tickets cost, and I never would wait 45 mins for the POTC ride. But I have fond memories of waiting outside to see if they were going to offer the $15 entrance fee after 8 PM. Loved this place as a teenager. Sad my kids will never get to experience it. RIP DQ.
