Disneyland's Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique

Thanks DizNee and pixiewings... now I just have to ask if my niece would want to do it too. I feel bad that to leave her out since she's a teenager already and the others are 8 and under. But I have a feeling she'd rather I give her cash than make her sit through a princess makeover... :lmao:

Well they do have the face painting that Miss Kitty mentioned, they have that in both DL and DCA and they also have Disney 365 in DTD which does a rock star style of makeover.

Thanks Misskitty and Pixiewings! I'll ask her about it when we get there :)

Just for FYI, when I called the reservation line they said AP/PAP discount is 15%. Not sure if that is what people have been receiving but that's what the CM on the phone told me.

Hey all!! I've booked my DD for the $50 package but I just had an "Oh!" moment when thinking about how short her hair is. Its only to her shoulders and Im wondering if anyone has had their daughters hair done that has shorter hair?

FYI ~ *this* ebay seller has the same items sold in the parks for a much better price. I don't know how she does it but I won't complain ;) If she doesn't have listed what you want/need send her an ebay message - she'll list it for you when she can you just have to get it *BIN* before someone else does. DD has several dresses/costumes from her. You could look through her completed auctions to see what else she's had.

We've had plenty of people report back that short hair is not a problem for the FGiT. You will be just fine with the shorter hair. :)

I'm an adult, but I hope things won't be that different. ;)

My hair does go nowhere near my shoulders and it worked just fine.

jenseib,
Do you mind me asking you where you got that beautiful princess costume in your sig?
It is breathtaking...

I'm assuming you mean the red Belle one. I got it 1 1/2 years ago on Disney shopping. It is no longer sold, but you can find them on ebay every so often for a heafty price.
The Mary Poppins one was a dress I had her dance studio order. It was a sleevelss, so we put a shirt under it and added to it with the hat, boots and parasol.
I am selling 2 other dresses right now on ebay.
They have a little over a day left on them yet. Both are size 4/5. One is the Ariel wedding dress (which is no longer made) and the other is the Sleeping Beauty dress, which also is no longer made.

The 2 in my signature still fit her, so not going to sell them yet.

This is great news!! My DD has been "Growing it out" for the past few months but it was an inverted bob (Think Rihanna) and was pretty short before.

When I read that about her DD's hair you were the person I thought of Vala. :) I remember your photos before and after and that it wasn't a problem for you at all. :)

My ebay name is jendowl if you are interested.

just a quick fyi, you may get points for posting your ebay name and that you have items up on ebay in the same post. Just letting you know because that happened to me a while back. You may want to edit your post and PM the PP your ebay name. :)

OH? I thought you just couldn't post links to things you were selling. I don't sell often, so I guess I never thought about that.

No, I had no links in my thread, just what I was going to be listing (I hadn't even listed them yet) and my eBay ID and the thread was removed and I got points for it. Just wanted you to know because this forum is moderated regularly, the forum I posted in was not moderated at all so someone reported the thread but here your post might get noticed. :)

Sorry for the off topic question, but what are points? :confused3

I took the name out. so I should be good

You should be. :) I just didn't want you to get in trouble for it. :)

I honestly don't know, they told me I had points but didn't say anything else, even when I asked. I don't know how long they last, what they mean, if I get banned for having them....obviously I didn't get banned but if I get more will I be? I asked a bunch of questions but never heard back so I just don't know.......

I figure it was something like that... hehe
It's just so pretty I had to ask...

Justed wanted to come post our experience at BBB yesterday.

We booked the castle package as we were attending the Halloween party and my DD had been planning on going as Belle.

What a wonderful experience for her. She was pampered and given so much attention during the hour we were there.

I was a little worried at first about the hairstyle. My DD has VERY long hair and I wanted them to do something with HER hair, not just a hairpiece. I was so worried I almost cancelled and took her to Disney 365. It was hard to tell in the pictures they had, but DD got the Disney Diva style where they did "4 Mickey Twists" and then also a hair piece. She wore the colored piece to the party, but I bought a brown one for Halloween when I attempt to do her hair the same way at home!

I think the only thing I didn't like about the entire experience was that THEY picked the pictures they printed for me, and then gave me a photo pass card for the rest. I dunno, seemed like I should have been able to pick.

I DID like how I didn't have to buy the shoes for the costume. They just charged me for what we picked out. The shoes for Belle are flip flops, and I had bought my DD some gold ballet slippers to wear. We also got some gold earings and a locket in the store.

Now, they didn't have my DD size though in the dress. She is a YM and they only had L and S. Never would have occurred to me they wouldn't have her size! But,they used some rubber bands to make the straps shorter and it worked fine. They said they were out through the entire resort!

Anyways, I would totally recommend this experience for all families!

Sounds like a great experience!! How fun! :)
When we did the photos I did get to pick which ones were printed right there, that's odd that they've changed that.
