Does DLT have the Riviera resale restrictions?

I believe they said all new DVC resorts will have the same restrictions on resales moving forward when they announced for Riviera, so my guess is yes.

I expect they’ll build another conversion at Poly or do a conversion at VGF (last one wasn’t technically a conversion). Or perhaps BLT2. But conversion is cheapest.

I suspect they might even do a conversion at Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach. The layouts for both lend themselves to working well and a moderate DVC might go over well, especially whole the economy recovers.

I would love them doing Coronado Springs, what they did over there is amazing!! I would love to stay there on DVC and think a moderate DVC would do well esp a modlux hotel like Coronado Springs.

We continue to go back and forth about that: Buy more VGC or get some @ DLT. I guess we have a few years to think about it . It's probably going to be super cool and the shiny new toy in the DVC world but... location location location - I'm not sure you can beat VGC?

I have gone back and forth in my mind as well. We have never stayed at GC but have a DVC trip scheduled in August! I feel like after staying on both properties our family can make a decision! I am not a fan of them raising the points to 125 for a blue card though. Not entirely sure if that would even be necessary at DL.

Aulani will never sell out. I would be surprised if Disney hasn’t already figured out what the next WDW DVC will be; I imagine they will wait until things return to normal to lock it in though.

This is sad to hear. Aulani is an amazing resort, but for some reason it just never caught on.

No, but normally it really does happen 6 to 9 months before opening.

So, I think we are still too far out to have an idea.

We are still at the “there’s construction trailers on site but no visible construction” phase of the project (I imagine they’re currently demolishing existing interior spaces but I have no evidence to back that up beyond the trailers). It’s gonna be a year and a half at least I’d estimate.
